I felt a little “rattle” Friday on a drive but didn’t see anything wrong. Went to tighten the screw with the wrench and it just keeps turning, inside of thread in shaft may have stripped. Anyone ever hear of this happening? I have heard of an occasional tip adapter having a stripped thread, not brand specific either. Can you pull the head off the adapter tip? If I understand correctly it should be a simple install of a new adapter and new screw. Or if the screw snapped off just below the head then pull the head off the shaft & carefully remove the rest of the screw from the adapter and only a new screw would be needed. Tom the Golf Nut
I did a stupid thing today (maybe 2). Been waiting for a few weeks for 5 tons of pea gravel to be delivered. Well it showed up today. After shoveling, moving, dumping, and raking out three of the five tons I was toast. Then I sit down to rest some and realize it is DEMO DAY tomorrow. Crap, I now get the kids and head out to the store to get Mothers Day presents. Didnt want to interfere with Demo Day. I felt like an old man with a turd in his pants walking around the stores. Hopefully I can move tomorrow. There is still 2 more tons sitting in wait for me when I get home tomorrow. Then brain storm #2 hits me. " Hey dear why don't we go to the club Sunday for Mothers day brunch!" She is in complete agreement until........wait for it.... Why don't you meet me there at around 11:30 with the kids. Shankster
I hav been processing my last round for quite a few days now. I played extremely well, and I couldn’t put a finger on why.
