Ewan McGregor was awesome as Obi-Wan, and I'm excited to see how the TV series goes. 

But sir Alec Guinness is still how I picture Obi-Wan.

Funny, but not funny on these times we live in, the wife and I met on Oct 13th, a Friday the 13th. We got married on Oct 12th.

We both forgot those dates this year.

So, I forgot our anniversaries, but so did she.

At least I am not in trouble.

Ya know.....if you build a detached garage, build it far enough away from the house you can get all kinds of things stored out there that don't get noticed for quite a while!!!

I proposed to my wife on the 1st tee of the golf course on April 1.  On April 2 she asked if I meant it.  This is a date that I can't forget.    

We got married on April 21 a year later on the 1st tee of the golf course.  So, I have 3 weeks to get my act together; present, dinner, etc.

Great job and thanks for sharing the photos. We have a 2nd cart that is like this one that we've turned into a 4 seater. I showed your before and after to my husband because we've considered a wrap on the body and you did such a great job. Did you paint the roof and bars or replace them?

Great job and thanks for sharing the photos. We have a 2nd cart that is like this one that we've turned into a 4 seater. I showed your before and after to my husband because we've considered a wrap on the body and you did such a great job. Did you paint the roof and bars or replace them?

Thanks! The supports and roof have all been painted. I didn’t look the price up for black supports, but it only took a few cans of paint so it will definitely save some money to paint them.

I would like to paint ours. I assume that you disassembled everything to paint those. What special preparations did you use to be sure the paint sticks? I have trouble just getting a piece of tape to stick on our roof material.

We've already looked at a few wrap ideas. What brand did you use for the wrap? Do you recommend them? And did you put the wrap on yourself? Any tips?

This cart is all paint, no wrap. I have heard good things about the 3M wraps, but I've also heard they are a little difficult to put on and get good results. 

I disassembled everything, it's a pretty easy process.. only a few bolts holding the actual body on. I actually had a buddy paint the body and the roof as I don't have a spray gun, I did everything else myself. It was painted with a black base coat, then metal flake from Paint with Pearl was mixed in with the clear coat, which gives it a chameleon affect depending on the angle you're looking at it. As far as getting paint to stick to the plastic, you will want to make sure you sand/scuff the body and use adhesion promoter, that's the biggest thing. A lot of people recommend Bulldog adhesion promoter.

Just signed up my 7-yr old son and I for a father-son 9-hole scramble.  First time, and his first time in any sort of golf competition. It's as low-threat as it can get, but I'm still going to be nervous...with all this quarantine BS I won't have hit a ball in 3 weeks, I hope I can hold up my end!

Thanks man! Yeah, seat covers I did myself. Bought them from Up To Par Covers for around $70. If you have a newer cart, 2000+, there are lots of other vendors as well.

If the frame is solid, motor or engine good, no cracks in body might be a fun project. Windshield easy to replace.
