A lot of those came during the days when I was in “The North” making sure the wall was manned so the White Walkers couldn’t get through.

Now that I have moved a little further south in Westeros I can spend my time much better... actually playing this game.  But, you guys also get the stuff that normal people put on social media... I don’t do social media, so you get pictures of omelets and camping trips...

a few weeks ago, one of my wife’s friends was telling us how much she wanted a teapot for christmas. she was going on and on about it.

when we got home, i told my wife (in jest) that i thought a teapot was a silly christmas gift and thought it was funny how excited her girlfriend was for one.

fast forward to this morning, and i open this:

Nice!!  Water looks a little choppy... windy or just frolicking gators!
Not many illegal "immigrants" at our course today.  Maybe they know that the ground is frozen, so not much to eat.

I'll apologize in advance for the sloppy writing and this would be my personal preference for the clubs I have in my bag. Screenshot_20201225-205720_Chrome-01.jpeg.f6d8c6cdebef521f4f2203da094c0185.jpeg

can’t lie, that layout is giving me fits. i usually arrange my clubs straight across rows and that irregular middle part has me all messed up.

since i use a push cart, i’d keep my longest clubs in the middle so they don’t block the cart’s basket

As a push cart only golfer, I stumbled on this way of loading my 14 divider bag in the last round of this year.  Notably it groups club lengths and types in vertical stripes as they lay back on the push cart because of how it angles the bag,  The putter with the shortest shaft is the lowest in the bag and the club heads get progressively longer towards the top so that apart from similar length clubs tapping when uncovered there is no clubhead to shaft contact.

Truth is I am going to remove the LW because my low swing speed doesn't need a club that pops the ball forward about 10-20 feet... usually from back of the sand to under the forward lip still in the sand.   So pull that out and cascade everything down on that side and it leaves room at the top for alignment rods and {dare I say it? Yes I do} ball retriever, with the unsightly thing under a clubhead cover of course 🦁

Along the lines of @sirchunksalotjust the long irons switched a little. This is just at first I would have to see it on the cart before I figured it all out.

I need numerical and left to right.....hard habit to break

I'm kind of OCD about keeping mine in order, that way hopefully I'll never mistake the 6 and 9 irons for each other. Well, I did it once and came up short.

Reminds me of a round with my dad years ago.  He grabbed his 6 iron instead of his 9 iron... pelted the side of the barn they stored all of the mowers in.  Haha.  Full sent too... 😳

@sirchunksalot and your dad have nothing on me sadly. I do this way too often and not only with the 6 and 9.

A few weeks ago I had a 150 yard shot which had to carry about 135  to clear a water hazard. I set up, swung, and made the kind of contact we dream about.

i watched the ball take off on a beautiful high trajectory right online with the flag. I hear my cart mate do the “go! Go!” thing, and I’m thinking to myself “huh? This is perfect....”

PLOP!!! The ball lands in the water, way short.

Thought I had my 7, somehow I grabbed my 9. I never understand how I don’t notice the shorter (or longer) length at setup, but I rarely do.

These ums are the set, O'Donnell Triumph Maraging in 10, 15, 27 and added 19 to the set this year too.  The Langert Foiler Driver is 8.75 and a wholly different feel off a tee from the hybrids.1421710188_101527ODonnellsa.jpg.3b578f2a3b346e1b764b2628dfde8a1c.jpgLangertFoilerDriver2m.jpg.ced9d1bca2741caaee52d0646f6a4e4a.jpg

Just watched some YouTube of Bryson going for 145mph club head speed.

It is super impressive that this dude can square the club head swinging like that....

Wish I had the time to hit the gym like he does....

Insane.

Chris Como had bryson and Kyle Berkshire at his house about a week ago.  Bryson hit 147ish.  They showed some of the data from Gears and Kyle had 11 degrees AoA.  You can see some the videos on Chris como's Instagram page.  They have some video of Bryson and Kyle from overhead, face on and DTL; there are a lot of similarities.

Those two are beasts.  Like him or not... Bryson is going to change the game more than anyone else in history I think.  Tiger did a lot for the game to make it longer, but Bryson is going to a whole different planet. The guy is passionate about getting better... I wonder how many other pros have the work ethic he does.
