Very understandable, no mattter how may may disagree.......................

those who actually are going into work facilities seem to have much more to do than those "not" working from home 🤫

That's certainly part of it. I've been back in the office almost entirely since last May - mostly by choice.

Most of it is just being spread a little thin over too many projects.

I remember seeing this a few years ago and thinking, "well, at least I'm not that bad". Although I believe the 17th at Sawgrass would absolutely humble me.

I played World Tour in Myrtle Beach and made par on the replica of the 17th at Sawgrass. Does that count? But it still tested the nerves.

Weird.... this place is rather saturated.  And they say it rains a lot in Washington. 🙄

Beat me to it.
Balls plug in wet ground and disappear, also the retrieval vehicles can’t operate.

That happens at our Club on an occasional basis. The course becomes path only, but because our driving range is in a low lying area (re: very wet ground) the ball pickup tractor can't run across it without tearing it up so they close it. Side note: there is no revenue from our driving range - not sure if that enters into the decision at our Club but may at others. .

Currently in the dog house. Was rushing and answered the door without a mask on to give the UPS driver back a package. The UPS driver didn’t have a mask but was outside and was at least 6 feet away and the interaction was loke 20 seconds.

Been sort of, kind of thinking about picking up guitar playing...again. Played quite a bit during college but with graduation, marriage, new job, etc., the Takamine 12 string found a place under the spare bedroom bed and rarely saw daylight. 30 years later, we were so overwhelmed with retirement, selling the house, moving to Montana that, I just opted to sell it, along with lots and lots of stuff (absolutely amazing what 2 people collect).  I did keep my Eagles, Doobie Brothers, and a few other songbooks however.
Living rural, lessons are not likely too convenient but, with all the on-line stuff, I'm thinking that might be an option.  Not sure about a 12 string (hard as hell on the finger pads).  To those who play and those beginning (first time or do-over), what recommendations do you have?
Yeah do it if you can! I was down to 1 classical and 1 acoustic when my daughter was born. Sold the acoustic.. and then eventually the classical. She remembers when "daddy used to play". My little guy is 3 and doesn't even know that about me. Played for 35 years and then just quit. :(

the more I practice, the luckier I seem to get..

While I was at the range today, a guy next to me broke an iron.  I thought he chopped the ball in half, very strange noise.  Luckily I had eyes on it because he never saw it land.  Saved the day, but... it’s an older PING and it broke off in the hosel... good luck.

The golf club I played at today, when I walked into the clubhouse I was the only one of 4 people in the building wearing a mask.  Nobody said anything but it was a weird sensation.  Being a week beyond Pfizer 1 and 2, it probably doesn't amount to much but like some kinds of humor after a tragedy, sometimes it can be too soon and I will stay in practice for now with the mask.  It's actually surprisingly comfortable wearing one when winds are strong that drops the wind chill temperature effect on skin or that lifts dust and grit into the face.  Like all things, this too shall pass.

We're scheduled for Pfizer #2, Sunday the 4th. Our plan is to continue wearing masks around other people inside. Exception is when we're outside (golfing, etc).
