I get it this is technically a holiday, and I should be glad that golf is popular so courses won't close, but c'mon its 43 degrees in northeast Ohio, in 2019 and prior you could just show up at any time you wanted, pretty much after mid October, and courses would be ghost towns. I'm really glad but wow the courses were more crowded today than they were sometimes in the middle of summer at 1 PM. All three courses were packed! Based on the last 10 plus months of data, there were between 20 to 25 million more rounds played compared to 2020. Read this in an article this morning. The final numbers will come out in January sometime. 8 Quote Driver, TSi1 10* Stiff Flex 3 Wood, SLDR HL 17* R Flex 5 Wood, SLDR 19* R Flex 7 Wood, F6 22.5* R Flex 939x 5 hybrid Irons, 699 Pro's S Flex (6 - AW) JB Wedge 56* Wedge, CBX 60* Putter, Marksman Fang 35"

Now unless you make a tee time, it's hard to walk on before 2pm. 5 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

silver & black 6,371
I tried an ad blocker on my phone. It made it even slower than it already is. This is the slowest site I have ever encountered... on phone or PC. I visit here way less often these days because the snail pace this place operates at is infuriating.

I can't comment on the phone app as I have only used it infrequently and not since last summer. My PC connection is faster than most of the user media sites I do use frequently (it's FB, YouTube, Google mail, and others that get the spinning wheel of hope doing its thing every time) and MGS for me 10 times faster. Makes me wonder why the difference. Using Brave.com for my browser for its security and tracking block. 2 Quote Verified Hack, 23 handicap Golfing for exercise and peace of mind. |> Big Dogs: First StrikeTM Rattlesnake 10.5, O'Donnell Triumph hybrids 15 19 27, Ginty Trouble Club (29) |> Blades: First StrikeTM DeliveranceTM 3(20) 4(23) 5(26) 6(29) 7(33) 8(37) 9(41) P(45) |> Wedges: Worx (55) |> Flatstick: Pinemeadow Z-ON M1 (3) . What kind of phone are you using, Android or Apple? I'm only able to use my phone to get on here because my wife has a monopoly on the computer, so I installed AdBlock browser on my android. No ads and the site runs pretty good. I don't know about Apple and what they offer. The browser I'm using appears to be Chrome, with ad blocking magic. I understand the frustration, I honestly believe that the ads popping up on here have caused interaction on here to slow down and I hate that.

I have a brand new phone that T Mobile forced me to get that I can not work. The T Mobile people here are not much help and either are the people on tech support---- I would go down there and go to war with them today but it is very stormy and raining here and I am not going out. I am at the point as I was 2 weeks before Christmas of giving them back both the phones and going to burner phones. I do not think T-Mobile cares about some of us seniors are not as tech savvy nor do they seem to care. 3 2 Quote Driver ---- Honma G1_X Stock tuned Honma R shaft---- 3 wood TM V-Steel Aldila 65G R Flex 15*--- 7 Wood TM V-Steel UST Pro Force 65 R flex 21*---- 9 wood TM V-Steel stock MAS Stiff shaft 24*--- Irons 5 thru 9 1980 Mac VIP Hogan Apex #2 shaft---PW Hogan TK-15 50* KBS Wedge Shaft---- SW Callaway PM 56 modified grind 8* KBS Wedge shaft---- Putter 1997 Rusty Scotty Santa Fe Bullseye fluted shaft--- Bag Old School Jones Classic non stand

Being an active duty officer it’s unheard of to stay in one place for 6 years, so I have no complaints and knew eventually I’d have to move on, but taking down Christmas lights yesterday it dawned on me it was the last time I was going to do it at our Nebraska house, and it’s becoming hard not to think that way about a lot of things. My kids are 8, 6, and 4…this place is all they’ve really known, and I’m really hoping I can get them to embrace the adventure of a move rather than lament leaving. Still no idea where to. Hoping for Langley AFB in Virginia or San Antonio, although I’m hearing back to the Pentagon is a possibility. (Please Lord, no!) In 21 years, I’ve never correctly predicted where I’m going next, so why I bother to guess is beyond me. Anyway, sorry to vent that all here, just on my mind more and more as the summer approaches. Won’t know anything to a certainty until March…. Thank you for your service----- I guess I was lucky the 3 1/2 years I was in the Navy I was young and single--- I had 3 different ratings so I got moved around some--- Never on base housing though or shore duty as we called it--- But yeah I can see the stress and strain on a career Officer with a family---- But thanks again for your continued service and thank your family too.
