kardboard.kid
Never thought I would see a McLaren, Koenigsegg or Pagani in my life. Let alone all in one night at the same time. IMG_0556.JPG IMG_0555.JPG IMG_0553.JPG As a plus I got to meet the founder and CEO of Pagani but the conversation was light. His English is a poor as my Italian. Kor.A.Door
Cnosil - Walking scorer is the holy grail of tournament volunteering! Congrats on that. For the past 5 years I have been on the laser crew shooting distances for shotlink. Assignments can be in the fairways or on the greens. I will be on holes 7 and 12 at Quail Hollow this year. Hoping maybe Phil will send one my way and have to cough up a glove! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I usually get out to watch at Quail but this year I didnt get tickets. I kind of wish I did, but I can watch it at home. Should be a really good turnout this year with Tiger playing. It's really cool to see them up close. Big money
Was listening to the Michael Breed show on Sirius Radio PGA channel this am.Found it interesting that the USGA determined that less than 12% of golfers take lessons.Mr Breed than added it shows how competitive the teaching communtiy can be.And how he changed his philosophies for teaching amateurs to accommodate our needs.Their biggest rants in this segment was our expectations and time constraints when taking lessons.Michael, asks his students to give him 5 minutes a day.And at least 2-30 minute range sessions weekly to work in his new drills. He found out that many a student can't even sacrifice this small amount of time due to busy conflicting schedules. And also noted that many of our expectations from lessons are way too unrealistic. Many will never look or hit like Tiger woods. But he claims A few of his clients can't get over these ultra high expectations of themselves. Was an Interesting podcast with him and many guest teachers claiming same issues with students. If I can find a link to the podcast I will post it MattF, cnosil, Rickp and 1 other 4 Quote Keep it in the short stuff

Mr. Breed should consider how expensive lessons are? I think he charges around 500 per hour. If I have a limited budget and I could pay 60 dollars for a round of golf or 60 dollars for someone to give me a lesson there's no question what I'm choosing... 00sportsman, Big money and silver & black 3 Quote Driver- Titleist TS3/Callaway Paradym Woods- Sub70 pro 4w, Cobra 19* King F9 ONE Irons- Mizuno MP54 Wedges- Callaway Jaws Raw (50/54/58) Putter- Cleveland HB Soft 1 UST ALL-IN Ball- Maxfli Tour X

I used to be like you.But for me, and the 12% of lesson takers according to the USGA.We are Looking to make the game more enjoyable for us by learning a better game. Not sure price is an issue for many if long term benefits were positive. And positive meaning lowering handicaps-gaining more distance and consistency. silver & black
Price is definitely an issue. Some of us don't have an income that allows for much more than actually "playing golf". The rest goes to keeping the wolves off the door step. MDGolfHacker, 00sportsman, StrokerAce and 1 other
