Rickp
Played this morning with the usual senior suspects. Nobody played particularly well, maybe US OPEN hangover. I shot an unspectacular 40 on the front and then went sideways and had a 46 back 9. Forgot how to swing and putt! MDGolfHacker
Played yesterday in annual tournament I try to do every year. Sponsored by Golfstyles magazine, the Solstice Tournament is a 54 hole stroke event that is played all on the same day. We start at 6AM and don't stop until the last putt dropps on hole 54. Played like I just picked up clubs for the first time, but the course (Stonewall Golf Course in VA was in fantastic shape) has some stunning views and my playing group more than made up for my poor play. Rusty1885
I was going to play a quick 9 but at the second green par 5, there's nice shade over the bunker decided to working on the bunker shots instead. Wanna try to hit a few zippers like them boys at the US Open. Felt great, moved on to another bunkers, then the third hole. When I had enough then hopped over to the 8th and play the rest of the bunkers in. Good session. cksurfdude

Rusty1885
Teed of at 5:30, with my brother. He got hot early and the heckling started right away. It's on. I nutted every approach shot I could, hit 13 fairways 29 putts. What a freaking round. We both took a couple of fairway mulligans, one each 9. He shot the round of his life 76 and I short 69, we were just neck and neck. Love it. cksurfdude, StrokerAce, MattF and 1 other
