ole gray
We're playing the University of Georgia course at 10:16 this morning. It' a great golf course and very tough so breaking 90 will be satisfying. The greens are huge undulating bent grass and if you get on the wrong side of the hole, you're screwed. GolfSpy_APH
Thankfully got out with the first group today as we have heat warnings all over the province. Well above 30 here today and the humidity doesn't help... But onto golf. Decided to give the 3 wood a good workout off the tee today and had a shaky 10/11 with bogey and double, but ended up finishing with 8 straight pars and a final of 76 with one birdie. Not a bad round over all for me. Now time to find some shade. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same thing tomorrow! Kenny B
Well, this week starts our 100* days. Very unusual for us; we can get 100* days starting in May or June so we are late this year. However, it was 100 today and tomorrow is forecasted to be 106*. Since sprinklers run most of the night, playing early tomorrow will be cooler but the humidity at ground level is brutal when the sun hits it. cnosil and Rickp 2 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
