Had a golf tournament today with the Golfweek amtour at the Golf Club of Dallas (really fun course by the way that I'd recommend to anyone). Shot 76 to win, needless to say I'm a happy camper today

a couple weeks ago I hit a 2nd shot 10 yards over the green, stupid. I wasn't happy, grass was long from all the rain and not paying attention. Surer than sh$t I almost stepped on a snake about 5' next to my ball. Not sure what went faster me or the snake into the swamp. Not sure what kind it was didn't stop to ask. Got to b careful in Florida!

Played Dove mountain today, tough but fun course. I hit the ball great in warm up, not so much on the course. I can't complain though my game is slowly getting better.

I really liked Dove Mountain.  The fairways are very generous; I missed one and by only a foot.  I played Saguaro and Tortolita, Didn't play Burro.  Which of the 3 nines did you play?

 

I also had the opportunity to play The Gallery.  Also a great course.

Nice snake!

 

I really liked Dove Mountain. The fairways are very generous; I missed one and by only a foot. I played Saguaro and Tortolita, Didn't play Burro. Which of the 3 nines did you play?

 

I also had the opportunity to play The Gallery. Also a great course.

Burro and Saguaro were the two they had us play today. Really enjoyed the views, and it was in great shape. Would love to play the gallery, not sure how to get on though.

Gonna get up early and play Silverthorn GC with some Bud's tomorrow. The course is located just south of World Woods in Brooksville, FL. Always a great time on this well taken care of course.....BTW, I got it from golf Groupon for $23

We are going to try it again today as Tuesday we got wetter than a hawg in a slopping contest!  I was soaked, my clubs, bag, everything was wet.   Looks like today we might get 18 in so keeping fingers crossed.  :D

I have 38 players tomorrow and we are playing the Palmer course at Saddlebrook Resort, which just happens to be across the highway from my subdivision. It's $125 to play during the winter season and we get to play it for $35.......and I get comped...

It's going to be a three round week starting today with DawgDaddy coming to Lane Creek to join myself, my wife, and good friend Richard.  Hopefully the weather will hold off until later today when thunder storms are rolling back in our area.  Then tomorrow is our senior blitz day and Thursday is another regular gathering for our senior group however without the points game. Lot's of golf and I asked Dawg to bring up his Cobra driver so he can try the Matrix White Tie I am reviewing.  I want to hear some of his thoughts about how the 50 gram shaft works for him.   I have some interesting opinions however I will hold off for now.

I had a toenail removed from my left foot at 8am this morning. Golfing today?? Might have to take a pain pill when the numbness wears off, but Hell yeah!!

Played at 7:00 early 9 hole Exec with the old guys. Beat the rain . Shot 3 over not awful , putting once again saved my fat butt.

Friday morning group more interested in breakfast than golf.

That's because wives aren't there to tell them what to eat.

I have a 230 time - watched a bit of the Solheim cup while prepping tomorrow's Bible Study.

 

One of my coworkers is going on a mystery tour with her friends for her birthday. I'm playing with my friend Dennis. That's a mystery tour too. We may see one of these 🦈or this 🦅or that or if he starts to get really wild a heard of these .

Plus I'm getting into my Fall golfing mode where I generally play my best golf.  I won 1st place in our blitz Tuesday and was driving the ball exceptionally well. It's going to be a great day!

My wife likes tools too. :D    We were talking last night how every day feels like a Holiday.  I could play golf five days a week if my body could stand it.  Once you start having multiple aches and pains what you want to do and are able to do is a different story.  I do play three days per week on average.

I'm retired, what do I have to do?.....just bought my wife a ryobi cordless circular saw and drill kit, so I should be good for a couple weeks...LOL
