I ordered Champ Pro Stingers for my 2014 D.N.A's and I just found out that they take the P.I.N.S system. Why can't they just use the same damn system for all their shoes!? He loves to chase a tennis ball, but he isn't the same for a day or so after. I'm afraid I'm going to have to tame it down a little. It's going to be a very hard day when the time comes for him. He's just the biggest, sweetest, giant baby............ Yea I was tearing up watching my old gal limp around yesterday and you can see that WTF is wrong with me Dad look on her face. We have walked together faithfully twice a day for the last six years. She was a rescue dog and we got her from the shelter at age two. It's going to be a lonely walk when my buddy checks out on me. Yea it's not her paws and it looks like when she is in discomfort she sort of arches her back. My wife gave her some pain medicine yesterday and we rearrange her bed to make it more padded and comfortable. She has been acting like she feels much better today. Heck she nearly trotted me around the block this morning and I had to slow her down a couple of times. She has pulled a muscle in the past because when she sees us coming home and she is outside and she takes off like a rabbit with fire cracker up it's butt. Anyways today she looks and seems to feel better than she has the last two days. She gets the chondroitin & glucosamine in her food so hopefully that will help with the joint issues that are coming with age. I second the glucosamine for older dogs. They immediately refunded my money and I re-order the item. The second time, the item arrived within the two day prime promised time. A day later, the first package arrived. Now I have two exact same presents for my son. Called Amazon but they said it was already noted as lost so consider it a freebie (it was a $20 remote control helicopter). I'm guilty of giving her too many snacks so I had to cut that out. Maybe after a few pounds off she will get more relief. You guys are killing me 'cause I feel your pain We have two big dogs, one we got as a puppy and an.older Lab we adopted; puppy is going to be 5 in May and Lab will be 9 this summer. They're both doing well, and hopefully have plenty.Of time left, but since we got each I am dreading dreading dreading that inevitable day.... My wife even.more so - she says she's going to lose her husband also. People down the street had two beautiful Huskies - an older black/grey female and a younger lighter male .. lost both (???!!!!????) over the Winter and replaced them with two new pups Anyway, OG -- Hopefully it's a minor strain or sprain. Have you also checked her paw pad? Sometimes they can get a cut or abrasion or something stuck in there. And do you give her glucosamine? I share my supplements with my boys and I've also been told that a daily baby aspirin may help with chronic (minor) pain. I agree on the glucosamine. Our terrier had knee surgery when she started limping at two - guess it's somewhat prevalent with terriers. She's 81/2 now and you could never tell except when we have major weather changes. The vet said 6 years ago the other one might need the same work. But knock on wood or glucosamine she doesn't need it. Up to the very end he would meet me at the door when I came in at night and sit and relax with me before I hit the hay. No matter what was going on in life I could always count on him when I just needed a buddy. My son will tell you the first time he ever saw me cry like a baby was the day Lennox passed. I had some very rough personal times right after my son was born and that darn dog always knew when I just needed him to sit with me. The Dane we have now is more of a family dog and she is attached at the hip to one or all of the kids throughout the day. Needless to say she is also like my child and I promised to give her a forever home the day we adopted her and I never go back on my word. There is just something special to me about pets.
