Got Problems?

Went to another specialist today... Told me the procedure my current Dr did was a complete mis-diagnosis, “That was WAY out of bounds.” I am SO MAD!!! Pain and issues ever since the procedure and now dealing with that!!!!! Going to a new Specialist as soon as possible!'

I can't even begin to describe the anger when this doc told me today.

Sorry man☹️ I alway get a second for big medical things. My brother is an ER Dr and he says to get a second opinion. He actually said he wonders how some of the Dr's practicing ever passed their clinicals. For my daughter's endodontics, I went to see 5 dentists... Lol needed to get a feel for them and to see if the opinions were the same (which were not)...

I don't mind the thread as long as it stays civil. I don't know enough about the college game so I'm not sure what's what so I read and listen.

Nah, no one's blaming you (i dont think)

 

It's funny to me to see the blindness of some fans. Again I don't have a college football team to root for really, I just root for good games when I do watch.

 

But it's funny how every fan base thinks the other teams haven't beaten anybody or they all play patty cake university out of conference. When you look at it from outside of both teams, you see really they could just as well be talking about their teams.

 

An example of this. No secret by my screen name that I'm a Carolina Fan. A couple years ago one of their players took an absolute dirty and cheap shot at a Duke player, then slammed home a basket with like :10 left in the game and Carolina up by 15 or so. Then taunted the Duke bench.

 

I said something in the college BB thread of another board and you would have thought I called Dean Smith the AntiChrist.

 

Shortky after that when the UNC Academic scandal came to light. I lit unto UNC administration and said there was no way Williams couldn't have known about this and was just playing the "I didn't know card (now referred to as the Rick Outing card )

 

I was accused of being a Duke fan using Carolina as a cover so i could troll them. Wow!!! I really wish I was smart enough to have thougjt up thst. Ha

 

Anyway. Everyone should be passionate, but also remember the fans of other teams are real people too who just have the same passion as you.

A small number of them will go on to the Pro ranks but the majority will be hopefully graduating and entering the ranks of the workforce.

Brother you have no clue how serious people in this region take their football.  Starting at the high school level and on through college.   There have been numerous fights at the games, friends who can be friends after football season however are arch enemies during season. If you ever get the chance to watch the series on Netflix called "Friday Night Lights", do so.   It's based on Texas high school football however it depicts so well the overall passion folks have here for the game.

The closet we ever came to sports violence was many years ago at Madison Square Garden NY. SWMBO and I used to go to a lot of UCONN basketball away games in fact we had gone to every BIG EAST city for games. One time we did a St. John's vs UCONN Men's game and UCONN unexpectedly won. Some St. John's faithful were not happy and were pushing, shoving & punching UCONN fans. At the end of games the Garden escalators are shut off and upon hearing the ruckus I just grabbed the bride and huddled us out of there. Very ugly.

Yea in some instances it can be equal to road rage.  People get emotional about their teams and have a short fuse.

Why can't the Golf Channel list the players in the order that they finish instead of putting Americans ahead of players from other countries.  Yesterday's tee times where Tiger was T-5, the Golf Channel listed the players as:

Tiger

Rickie

Kuchar

Matsuyama

Molinari

but Tiger played with Matsuyama.

 

At the start of today, the GC leaderboard showed

Hoffman

Spieth

Rose

but Hoffman plays with Rose.

 

This never happens on the European Tour.  Players are listed in the correct order of finish the previous day.  BTW, the PGA Tour leaderboard lists the players correctly.  I like to be able to see the scoreboard at the end of a round and know who is playing together the next day.

My local high school hosted a state semi-final Saturday.  The turmoil leading up to the game was both confusing and infuriating.  SAT's were scheduled months ago for Saturday morning and parents/fans/players/coaches felt the school did the football team a disservice by not postponing the SAT for such an important football game.  As I said last week when this was brought up in a meeting I had to attend, "not one single kid on that football field Saturday will ever make a dime playing football but every single one of them can benefit greatly from a quality education and none of them are getting one without the SAT"!  

 

It saddens me that athletics cause such a lack of perspective!

I don't know if you saw the original movie (based on the best selling book by Buzz Bizzinger and award winning author, but the movie obviously depicts a level of craziness that can't be shown on TV!    But I will say Minka Kelly was a very good reason to tune into the show each week

Public Serve Announcement rant. I have a new guy that shares my office space. He's been with the company only for a few months. Now, if you have got to release the worst smelling, most paint peeling, quietest sounding gas fart that only Satan himself would Appreciate, don't do it in a 20x20 office that has poor ventilation and has me in it! 😢 Hold it and go out to the lobby and kill the plants out there with the smell of death eminating from your rear nether region. I've lost all sense of smell and actually stopped typing an email when it happened. The silence only added to the effect. What happen to common curitisy
