I played the other day and there were, no joke, five groups on one par 3. It was disgusting. Probably the last time I play that course.

Must be the day for backups; we had 5 groups on the 9th hole.  The group that came up behind us started an hour behind my group.

GI issues.... Ugh. My GI doc is having a whale of a time figuring out what ails me. So sick of feeling bad. Heading to alternative doctor in Michigan a week from Wednesday. Going to do food allergy testing, among other tests... Seriously praying that maybe he can find what's going on. I wouldn't wish this stuff in my worst enemy. We're supposed to leave for the beach today, but I keep having issues so they're all waiting on me to finally be able to load-up. Ugh.

I live in a touristy area, with 1,000's of miles of recreational vehicle trails.

 

These renters come here, tear the dang place up and leave.

 

There are people staying down the road from me that have the loudest ATV's I've ever heard, and they are going up and down my road at 60+mph.

 

Nonstop now for 3 days.

 

This is the reason I love golf, no loud stereos, atvs, cars, dirt bikes...

 

Just peace and quiet.

 

Ready for fall already, this place is a zoo.

I can relate. We live in a touristy town. And NEVER go to walmart on weekend or holiday weeks between May and September.

This is in no way, shape or form, an attempt at a political statement.  If anyone should feel the need to reply in such a way as to turn it into one, please don't!  

 

The Social Security Administration moved into a city-owned building two doors up the street from my office on the same block in early June.  I parked in the lot behind my office at 6:30am on Monday morning, a full two-and-a-half hours before the Social Security Administration office opens.  The line was already around the corner and halfway down the block!  If there were fewer than 50 people in that line, I would be shocked.  And not a single person appeared to be over the age of 30!

 

Again, just an observation.

Many years ago--in the 80's--I was an Insurance Agent in Tampa.  So a lot of my driving was during the day going to various appointments and all.   Occasionally I would run into large amounts of traffic, and said out-loud to myself...."Why are these people on the road and not at work, they can't all be insurance agents"

Getting on the Ohio turnpike (80) this morning:  what is it with drivers who can't read a big neon sign. EZ Pass Only means just that
