Really sick of people taking items out of the goodwill boxes around our city. Picking thru donated items to help the poor and other great charities is the lowest of the low

Need to spend more time and money on my truck, but this will be the biggest project yet. Have to drop the tank to change the fuel pump...they rust on the top and start releasing vapor.

I updated my wife's laptop to 10 a while back and it took FOREVER!! But it was worth it. Good luck.

It's a government laptop so they are always behind while they harden the OS. It only took 5 1/2 hours, lol. 2 hours of that was decrypting the mostly empty hard drive.

I know the feeling.  I'm typing on MY laptop right now.  It's the first computer I have ever had that wasn't government owned.  Most of the computers were Windows, but there was a hard core Apple (pun intended) group.  We never seemed to have the problems the Windows computers had.  When I retired I bought a Mac laptop because of familiarity and that my wife has 6 Macs in her Photo business.

The one thing I hate about Men's League: We had match play last night and we gave our opponents 6 strokes each and we halved 4, won 1 and lost 4.These guys were clearly as good (or bad) as we were yet we were giving them 6 strokes each. FYI the holes they won were clearly on strokes given vs. actual play. Wondering out loud do they ever record their good games.

LOL, I just shook my head.  It's a family trip with the kids so I was thinking of trying to squeeze in 9 in the early morning in lieu of one of my shore fishing excursions.  Just need to find a course close by that opens early so I can be home by 8ish...

I remember driving through the Carolinas in the 1950s with my parents before the big highways came in.

 

There were so many roadside attractions back then.

 

I seem to remember Stuckey's, South of the Border, some good BBQ joints, Burma Shave signs, and stuff like that.

 

Also that gray stuff that grows all over the trees.

I bought two shirts last night, both cotton, both JUST right. I put them in the wash this morning before I left. I WAS going to let them air dry. Well, the wife put them in the dryer.... I buy everything baggy.

 

And if it's baggy on me,

 

then it's a tent for a small family.

 

The only exceptions are suits,

 

which is why I own so many that I'll never wear again

 

unless I can get back into them when I'm even closer to being dead..

Damn. You would think she would know by now.

 

It's the same with me--size wise--but fortunately my fiance is the same about wanting all hers hung dry as well. They are usually small or XS so if they shrink any more she's screwed as well. Ha
