Shankster
Boggles my mind how someone can get stuck on a few thousand bucks when you are paying hundreds of thousands....it's like a very small percent and seems like it is just being stubborn and petty. If he was paying cash I'd probably consider it. But he is getting a loan... so it's like $8.66 a month over 30 years. Plus interest. Buy one less 12er of PBR. Kor.A.Door
Every local channel has been showing Florence all day, All day. I have been trying to find alternative ways to watch football today. It's a crappy day outside so I can't go anywhere, and all they show is the same map and talk about the same thing over and over and over. One of the local channels has an app to download where you can what just the radar picture if you want. I'm not saying that keeping an eye in the storm isn't important, but how about you make our day a little better and let us watch some regular programming as well. robertson153
My son (7) is playing fall baseball. It's only 6 weeks long, tonight was the second game. After the game was over 4 grown adults were screaming at one another in front of everyone. I though who can get that mad over a little league game? Turns out it wasn't about the game, it was an ex husband and an ex wife fighting over their kid!! Who does that?? And to beat all the 7-8 year old boy was in the middle of this yelling match. I wanted so bad to go over and say “this is not the place to carry on that nonsense, and your son and everyone else's kids don't need to see this.†But I didn't. I never understood how adults can act like that in public. I felt so bad for that boy, if they act like that in public I can only imagine what home life is like. MattF
Bridgestone was sending me a new 2g weight to replace the 10g one in the JGR driver and it was supposedly delivered yesterday by UPS but it was nowhere to be found. What's strange is that they delivered another package from Amazon at the same time that was quite a bit bigger. I doubt the small one was taken because there was a bigger one there for the offering...I'm thinking the driver left the other one on the truck but scanned both as delivered. Now the wait is on while Bridgestone get a hold of UPS and try and find out where it is. Mr. 82
Anyone else get a ton of SPAM calls on your cell phone? I get about 4 or 5 variety of these calls every day, and the ones that are obvious are from the same area code and prefix as my phone number (850-445-****). If I see that sort of number on my screen I don't even answer it. Then there are others from Las Vegas and New York that are 99.9% guaranteed to be SPAM. The ones that make me laugh are the record messages that say, "We are calling about your credit card account..." I don't have a credit card you morons!!! The other one that is really starting to piss me off and make me want to jump through the phone and strangle this person is the one where after you say hello, they say, "Hello Grandpa." I mean, how bold and evil do you have to be to just be randomly trying to scam old people out of money. There has to be a special place in hell for people that would even attempt phone calls like these. I so want to put a tracer on my phone and locate these scum of the earth and have them put before a firing squad. That would be the only appropriate justice for these sorts of scum of the earth. Shankster
Large metro areas are awesome from my perspective, but one has to be pretty well off to live comfortably in them. A Tribeca loft would seriously float my boat! Schools are the main focus. I have 5 kids, they are more important than the job. So, sending them to a school in say Downtown Miami doesn't sound to appealing. The job is the same mostly at all of these places. NiftyNiblick
I don't have a credit card you morons!!! I couldn't agree more about the unsolicited calls. How could anybody not hate them? But how can you survive without a credit card? How do you make a hotel reservation? Buy airline tickets? Rent a car? How much cash do you have to carry around? (I assume you have to carry a gun!) Do you always use cash in restaurants? I don't carry a balance on mine, but I can't imagine living without them. It's not 1940. The world runs on credit and debit cards, doesn't it? Then again, if you can do it and still live the way you choose to live, that's great--more power to you!
