Right? That’s why I can’t stand dealers... their first suggestion is usually the most expensive option... you would think their conscience would bother them after awhile...

Crazy. My cars in the shop right now. Looking at around 2k for everything. One is new brakes/rotors. Every shop estimated me around $900. Found a kit for $310. Crazy how much it costs to take it to a shop.

Had my irons and hybrid re-shafted at Golf Galaxy and went to pick them up. Shafts look great, but they "forgot" to trim the lengths and all the irons are missing their ferrules…!😖Fortunately they trimmed the shafts before I left with them, but none of us noticed the lack of parts...I only noticed their absence when I began to install the grips late last night...😫Now off on another trip to have them done right...

My only problem with bug zappers and slapping mosquitoes? They kill those things far too quickly. Mosquitoes deserve a much slower, more agonizing death.

Had a bummer today. Enjoying a beautiful today at my parents' house on the lake. My dad just got a boat. The kids were going out for a second boat ride, and I thought I'd get some nice drone footage of them.

Drone got caught in a tough wind, and it couldn't fight through. Ended up being pushed into the trees along the shore and plunged into the lake.

[sniffle]

I managed to fish it out and pulled the battery. Currently drying, and I'll let it keep drying for a couple of days.

It's not crazy expensive, but it was $100 and was a Christmas present to me from my wife. Hoping that it lives, but I can't say that I'm optimistic.

This past Thursday I played in ML and wasn't feeling quite right (and played terrible). By morning I had the worst head cold I can ever recall - been resting on the couch for the past three days. I have established in this thread how our neighbors take "gardening and landscaping" to levels beyond normal rationale.  To each their own.  Their property is beautiful with grass so lush, most golf courses would be thrilled to call it their own.  However, they fully expect the rest of the neighborhood to follow their example.  When the neighbors fail to live up to their ridiculous expectations, they begin to trespass and landscape the entire neighborhood.  It's creepy and unwanted from my perspective.  We've had a few conversations with them about respecting boundaries to no avail.

Today is my teenage daughter's first day out of school for summer vacation.  My younger daughter still has a few more days of school.  The older one stayed in the family room in the basement last night watching movies until the wee hours of the morning.  She woke up this morning to the dog barking at our neighbor..... in our yard....waving at her through the basement window!  She had driven her Kubota tractor into our yard, less than 3 feet from the basement windows, and was trimming our hedges, trees and bushes.  Scared the hell out of my daughter!

Enough is enough.  I'm letting the police department handle this from here on out!

Maybe you should list their house for sale-by-owner on Zillow and have an open house for Saturday 9-1 and have a nice laugh when everyone starts showing up.

Man, that is evil, I love it!!

I thought about putting in a row of solar powered electric fencing to go along with heavily watering the hedgerow.  Should result in a rather shocking situation for them.

In all seriousness, they are fairly nice people.  They just take gardening to overwhelming extremes and don't seem to grasp the concept of boundaries.  They are literally working in their landscaping 6-8 hours a day, 7 days a week.  I don't have the time, desire or patience to do that.  My lawn has a neat, kept appearance.  I mow and trim a least once every week.  The hedges are kept trimmed a few times a year to maintain a neat appearance.  Beyond that, I'm not interested.

With that said, I can't have them wandering around my property scaring the hell out of my kids by looking through windows at point blank range.  Besides that, had my dog bitten her, my dog would have been the one most severely punished.  The city has a "zero tolerance" policy with biting dogs.

Sounds like they have an "all-in 110%" personality.

Maybe you could invite them to the course and get them addicted to golfing? (But then they might knock on your door at 5:00am wanting to you to join them and beat everyone else to the course!)

So apparently the jerk, who was also on a non hands free cell phone, thinks this sign means, get out of the lane you are already in, speed ahead 5 cars and expect to get back in the lane you just left.   Substitute XX m for now.

I know it's first world problems, but it's entitled people like that, that irritate me.   Fortunately, I had just finished listening to Micheal Breeds opening of his show, which always puts me in a positive frame of mind.   So as a result, I was POSITIVE this person should be run off the road 🤪
