If I had to hazard a guess about what is different, it’s probably the thousands of flat footed finish swings I’ve been making the past couple weeks. Because I don’t recall this ever happening and it didn’t start until they reopened the driving range. Or maybe my feet were just slowly conditioned to the wide toe box that has been one of the TRUE hallmarks since the beginning. Corner of my basement flooded too. Thank goodness it was not the finished part I would have lost my mind. Was able to control it. The yard was a lake for a bit. It was almost like the dirt wasn't seeping and the water just stayed on top of my yard for about 10 minutes and then it all just seeped in, was coming right through the CMU's.
