Came home from work tonight to a dog covered in diarrhea. The other dog hasn't been eating unless I put stuff on her food and she is supposed to be pregnant so I cannot have that. Clean up and a dog bath later is just what I wanted to do after work.

Sorry to hear that.  Hope they get over it quickly and are OK.

That sounds terrible. Did you dog eat something bad?

No the one has a super sensitive stomach and randomly has issues so I'll have to get him on some probiotics to fix him up.

I felt it shifting around about a week or so ago, and I knew it was just a matter of time. Doing my best to manage it at home, after being in a hospital in Boston yesterday for an appt with my daughter I really don't want to visit my local ER given that city is in a hot zone right now, want to limit exposure as much as I can.

Hopefully they are small enough to pass. Drink plenty of fluid to help push them along.

At my last ultrasound about a year ago, they were just gravel so hopefully they'll move along quickly. I've been churning these damn things out every few years for the past 25+ years, and had lithotripsy on some big ones around 5 years ago. Sadly this is not my first rodeo, and it sounds like you've been around the block with 'em a few times too.

Yup I'm a rodeo clown. Get the pains and roll around on the floor for a few days.  Had Lithotripsy on one, laser blast on another, passed three on my own. I get a CT every year due to a past kidney cancer almost three years ago. They took out half a kidney.  I have to be scanned every year for 4 years as a follow up.  All is well on that front. They said the two stones are probably too big to pass so I know I have another procedure or two in my future.

I wish you luck on yours. I hear beer works well. The President of my company gets a few stones a year and swears by beer as getting them to pass. I don't care for the taste of beer. But that's better than a hospital visit.

I wish you guys luck on passing those things.  I had one stone in 2002 that prevented me from going to Russia for work.  I also had gout for many years.  I was put on Allopurinol, a cheap drug, and I haven't had either since.

Yeah, unfortunately it is just going to happen.  Across the board.  Adding more requirements to promote in my field, it’s already hard enough, but adding this step will likely set back 40% of guys just like me 3-4 years or more... 🤦🏼‍♂️

Trying to figure out how to fly to Reno, NV next week without having to quarantine on my way back (thanks Dictator Cuomo!). Best I have come up with is two stops from NY to Sacramento and then a 2.5 hour drive east to Reno. If this is our new norm then I want off this ride.

i usually fly down to florida once or twice a month throughout the summer and fall to check on the house but haven’t been able to since the spring.

it’s looking like when i do finally fly down there i’m gonna be stuck down for a while.

like you said - i want off this ride.

Rhode Island is on the NY quarantine states list. If I fly there from NV I would have to quarantine for 14 days. This is just absolutely insane.
