... Where do you think folks are picking up Covid?

Good question. I did a little questioning and the outbreak with the Bacon Boyz came from a simple Sunday evening Mexican Train game with 8 people. One of the players who’s in hospital right now spread it to the other 7 and BAM it went right thru the neighborhood then the Bacon Boyz is comprised of 3 neighborhoods and so it goes.
SWMBO and myself are not showing anything.

Afraid I may have torn my achilles this morning playing pick up basketball.  Seeing the doc later today I hope (waiting for call back).  Likely will sideline me for just about everything for quite a while.
Just got a skytrak and have all of the other projector components and new net on the way.  It is what it is, but silver lining is that I would prefer it happening in winter than summer.

Hope you get some good news and it isn’t very serious.

Had to take my dachshund to the emergency vet last night, she was going after her tail and yelping from discomfort. We got concerned she might have a blockage or some glands that needed drained. My wife was freaking out. Everything came out well, they did x-ray's no blockages and did a stool sample and didn't see anything there but sent us home with a dewormer.

20210106_221840-01.jpeg.4286fb9f0f0eb8637d36b6d1f8d2ebe1.jpeg

Got up this morning, looked out the window, and noticed my car trunk was open. Nothing was stolen, I think I accidentally hit the key fob (it happens way too much) and it had rained last night. Now my trunks wet and I can't leave it open to dry out because it's still raining. 🤦‍♂️

I hope the pup is feeling better.  I haven't done the trunk thing but I have left the truck window open a time or two when it has rained.  Luckily its a work truck with manual window cranks so there are no electrical gremlins as a result.

That's a severely bad day.

She seems to be doing better this morning, no chewing or yelping and she's wrapped up in a blanket sleeping. She scared is a few months ago when she got into some xylitol sweetened gum and ate three pieces. Pretty expensive vet bill that time,  but she's worth it.

Last Friday 8 of us went to breakfast after Golf. 4 of the breakfast group has come down with COVID and 2 others who played golf and didn’t go to breakfast also were infected. That’s a lot of guys not to mention the wives.

That's true, I used to leave them in there all the time, but started taking them out because it is bad for grips.

Hope for the best!!  Maybe it's just a strain.  Ask about KT Tape and how to wrap it for best effect; the stuff is amazing.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear the positive news about your Achilles, much better to be a strain than a tear. Hopefully you'll have a quick road to recovery.

This ammo shortage that I have been hearing about is no joke. I can’t get 20g sport load shells anywhere in the US. Looks like my son won’t get to shoot his new gun anytime soon. Will have to settle for some rounds on my new 12g for the time being.

Oh,that is horrible. Water damage is worse than anything. Hooe it doesn't require much drywall and insulation replacement

What was supposed to be a good day to play golf didn't turn out to well.  7 am this morning I was awakened by the sound of running g water.  A cold water supply line broke to one of the faucets in the upstairs bathroom. Water running everywhere. It was even coming out of the light fixtures in the first floor hallway and the first floor bathroom.  What a mess. All over a 10 cent plastic compression fitting that cracked in half allowing the supply line to completely blow off.  Replaced the supply line with a braided type.  So far sucked up 10 gallons of water from the carpets.

I was getting ready to close on a refi when I got an email from my lender telling me that since my credit dropped, I would need to buy points. He told me it dropped well over a 100 points. I called him and he told me i was in collections to a cellular company for the tune of $6884!!  Holy %$#$!  A company Ive never had an account with. Put disputes out, froze credit reports, and a few other things. Come to find out my ss# was used along with a phony email, address on opposite side of the country, but a phone # in my area code. None of this was anything I was familiar with.

Bummer. Totally understand your anger.  About 15 years ago my wife called me at work and asked when we had purchased a cell phone?  Neither of us had personal ones at that time; just my company issued phone.  We also apparently purchased commercial carpet cleaning equipment which was delivered to an address in Tacoma, WA.  Those along with a few purchases at Chevron were completed before we cancelled the credit card. Long story short, it took us weeks to get this corrected and do the credit locks, checks, blah, blah, blah.  What a PITA.  Hope you get it corrected quick and the scoundrels get caught or karma down the line.
