6 weeks early isn’t terrible though the child is fully formed. At week 32 the baby will be fully developed so the risk factors are lower

So in the last 6 days I've had the following:

Car engine blew up at 40,000 miles, requiring a new one

Cut off a small piece of the end of one of my toes

Lost my wallet-with DL, credit cards

Stabbed myself in the hand with a steal spike 

I think I better go home and stay inside for a month!

Update on this. Block lifted and I accepted a new position. No idea on start date yet. 
 

things still in flux with my wife and her injury. Sounds like acl. Won’t know mri results til next Tuesday. The hospital is moving very slow and is back logged with people now having elective stuff done.

FORD-Fix or Repair Daily   After 30 years of Toyota's I thought I'd give good old Henry a try

Toe-I use industrial size nail clippers and got a bit too aggressive on one particular toe nail.

Wallet-I apparently swept it up with a McDonalds bag and newspaper from the front seat of my car and threw it away. 

Finger-Digging through a dumpster of 10 bags of trash looking for said wallet. 

Going out to play a round this afternoon, I may advise my buddies not to ride in the same cart with me

As I mentioned, I went through it with my son. Regardless of the statistics, it doesn't make it any easier to feel helpless while you sit there and just wait for a tiny baby's natural growth to catch up. My son had an IV needle through the top of his head. I knew at the time he was in good care, but it's still rough to see and not be able to do anything. Statistics and probability doesn't work to ease the uneasiness in a lot of those types of situations. I'm sure this one will be perfectly fine, but there is just something about that helpless feeling that you don't get over in the moment.

On another note, the store where my wife is a manager at was held up at gunpoint for a robbery yesterday. Nobody hurt luckily, but she is pretty shaken up about it.

Just took a 110% swing out in the yard with a ball that I no longer have… because it went a country mile.

Im good to go.  Few week break fixed me up.  Time to get back at it.  Watch out Bryson.

Since my elbow problem ((Ulnar nerve) I’m playing but only chip & putt (chip & putt, putt, putt?) nothing over 100 yards.  It keeps me out there and no pain.

That's great Randy.  Nothing worse than feeling trapped at a job you don't like.  I recall when Boeing enacted temporary transfer blocks and had a few really good heads opt to leave the company.   Dealing with medical stuff is more often than not a PITD... but made especially so with the pandemic effects.  Hope your wife is on the mend soon.

Tomorrow morning our 15 year old Gson is getting an operation.  A week ago he had a freak accident where he checked swing a high tight fastball into his eye.  He broke his cheek bone and fractured his orbital socket.  They had to wait until the swelling went down before they put in 2 plates, one in his cheek the second his orbital socket. 
He was checked last week by an Ophthalmologist and his eyesight looks to be OK. 
We FT with him a little while ago and his spirits are good.

Gson had his surgery this morning all went well.  He looks like he went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson in his prime.  
They put the 2 plates in and should be OK.  They had 2 surgeons there and I’m not sure why, somebody’s keeping something from worrying the Gparents.  Incisions  little too close to the eye for me and a bit scary but all good. 
Gramma is calming down (so is Granpa).

Definitely not good. 
One of our Friday Bacon Boyz players was diagnosed with “white matter disease” yesterday.  This isn’t good he really only 80 and takes care of himself. 
I was in his 4some Monday and I told the group that something was really wrong with him.  We had a talk with him and he went to the ER.

My Mum's husband looks to have had a small stroke and is in hospital. Mum's beside herself because Sydney is still on lock down until Monday, so she can't go anywhere, even the hospital and it's her birthday.

Got a parking ticket in the mail from Scottsdale AZ. I have never been to Arizona. Turns out, it was my old car I traded in back in July for my current car. Now i have to explain that to a judge. Either the DMV in OR screwed up or my dealership botched the paper work.
