Popular Post tommc23
Got a phone call from my mother today that I definitely misinterpreted. She stated that an uncle of mine found another uncle on the floor, I immediately asked where are they taking him thinking he was unconscious because that’s where my mind goes as a medic. Her response was a funeral home and I didn’t catch on quick enough and had to ask if he was unconscious or dead. Hearing that one of my uncles who helped teach me about hunting and was a figure of the family died wasn’t a good start to the day. He was the cook on Thanksgiving where he was always laughing and his laugh reminded me of my grandfather’s. My uncle who found my grandfather in cardiac arrest was the same one who found my uncle today. He was the eldest of 6 boys and the second oldest of the 9 on my mom’s side. My favorite part of his house was a horses a$$ that my cousins got him mounted years ago because that was his favorite thing to call people. Butchering deer and holidays definitely won’t be the same and neither will be holidays because he would always give us his amazing homemade wine. The idea being to keep one pumped up on the kryptonite in effort to keep the efficacy up. It is my opinion the science on how exactly that works person to person is anything but settled. Ultimately, these seem to be tracking towards traditional flu vaccine efficacy numbers; which aren't that stellar on a cumulative perspective. Hopefully any further mutations of this devil track to the less serious side of the ills scale. GolfSpy BOS
Been having an issue as of late with my eyes. Happened once in December and now it's back again. Generally I have excellent vision. somewhere around 20/15 in my left eye and around 20/20 in my right (dominant) eye. Back in December, and now again on Monday I noticed big blooms of light while driving at night around headlights and street lights and such. Almost as if you were looking through a dirty windshield. Closed my right eye, no blooms. When I went to the eye doctor back in Dec my right eye was down to about 20/40 vision, so a massive difference between the two. He believes I had uveitis which is a kind of inflammation and swelling of the eye. Cleared up with about 2 weeks of drops. Now it's back. Starting another round of drops and hoping it clears up quicker this time. Also super frustrating that it's basically impossible to tell the cause. cnosil, chisag, MattF and 1 other 2 2 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8

She does have allergies that we take her in to get shots for and we also give her Benadryl. She finally settled down around 5:30 and didn't seem to be in any pain, so my sister-in-law is going to take her to the vet tomorrow and see what's going on. Popular Post Shapotomous
Well, we have "teed off on the 18th" of my Dad's life round. This tough old WWII marine is 96 and last Friday I had to get Hospice involved as his pain level and other medical issues got to the point of needing the more powerful drugs to make him comfortable. He and my Mom have lived with us since March of 2020 when the covid lockdown's started. They were about ready to transition from living alone anyway and the daily life complications brought on by the lockdown worked in our favor to have them move in with minimal resistance. His decline over the last couple months has been rapid as the heart failure condition brought on many other related issues.
