My right knee (multiple surgeries) and right hip both causing poor stability and recently my left knee started acting up. I will not pursue any more surgery until this Fall. Personally, I'm in MDG's camp on surgery earlier than later. Maybe longer if I can put up with a little discomfort. Sorry to hear about the knees. Both of mine are shot and will be replaced in 10 years when I turn 50. After numerous surgeries on both knees (I think I am in the area of 18 or 19 combined) I made the same decision to just deal with the pain and moved on. Altered my lifestyle a bit and quit playing baseball in my early 30's was the start. Advil and rest are good ways to recoup a bit.
