Got Problems?

can't believe this... sold something on ebay, buyer gave me a business address to ship to, left on a business trip for a month, package was refused and returned to me and had to refund buyer. put it back up for sale and it's been over 24 hours and the 2nd buyer still hasn't paid me for it.

 

apparently after 48 hours I can open a case and then the buyer has another 4 DAYS to pay. what the ??? I thought you had to pay as soon as you won?

 

what. a. scam. I guess you can not pay, drag it out for 6 days, and then pay at the last minute?

this is some serious b.s.

I sold a set of irons on ebay several years ago and the buyer never paid. I shipped them in good faith and the guy disappeared according to ebay..

Some people suck.

 

There - I said it out loud.

 

Have not been a seller on eBay; have bought a few small things over the years (including a neoprene head cover set for like $3.25).

 

I know there are buyer protection services but I guess not the same thing on the seller side.......

1. Slow people in the fast lane .... God this really chaps my a**!  Then you go around them .... THEN they change lanes!  Arrrrrrgghh!  I just wanna say .... get the F out of the fast lane if you are going to go the speed limit or you are going to get run over. 
2. Having to bag your own groceries!  I may as well go thru the self checkout line if I wanted to bag my own.  Sheeesh! 
3. People that don't acknowledge you when you say "Hello" .... I don't care if you don't know me from Adam but damn, the kind thing to do is to reply with something.
4. Working 60 hours/week but only getting paid for 40

Summertime is just around the corner, in about a month, the Ocean City weekend traffic will start.   There really needs to be a sign prior to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge that states "This bridge in not a scenic overlook".   Its as if some have never seen water and ships before.  Also, when the sign on the booth states "EZ Pass only" and one doesn't have it, then stay the heck out of the EZ pass lane.   And if one can't read and find themselves in the EZ Pass booth, don't just sit there wondering what to do.   But then, if one can't read, then, I guess that is to be expected.

 

A word of warning, if travelling on Route 50 between 97 on one side and Kent Narrows on the other,  keep an eye out for the Transportation Police, they just love to write tickets.

Michigan just raised speed limit on the highway by my house. It was 55, now it's 65. People were already doing 65+, now their going 80. I got tail gated going 66 for 13 miles....!!!

Yeah. Well you can go 75 and it's not like real roads. You have to dodge pot holes and deer and all sorts of fun stuff.

 

My little village is a booming place in the summer, we have to walk across that road to get to the beach. Gonna be a little dicey now. I have a feeling this won't last long.

GolfGalaxy? They only have the UA and Bionic in lefties, at least that's all I'm seeing. Not really a fan of either of those. I really want the FootJoy WeatherSof, which is what I usually play, or the Contour FLX.

Ya know. I might not be the sharpest groove on the face. But I worked T a Subaru dealer as a tech for 2 years. Looking to buy a used Subaru. Went to look at one today that's about 3k over the retail market. I drove 30 minutes to look at a turd.

 

"Oh, that must have just happened" to a huge scrape down the entire driver side. people i say! Always trying to make a buck or get a deal on something good.

Scrolling through the forums on a study break and came across this thread so here's what I have going on...

 

Currently studying for 3 huge finals (Psychology, Management, Macroeconomics)

My roommate is sick so I can't go back to my room and relax

The weather sucks and I can't go take my usual study break on the range

I got about 4 hours of sleep last night

My motivation is dwindling

 

I'm fine, everything is fine.

 

One week left and I'm out practicing, playing, working on the course all Summer so that is pushing me through!

Played in a two man scramble this weekend-sat and Sunday. I hit it fairly well and my partner hit it decent but we putted like DOGS! I was so confused all weekend on speed and break. Would look at the putt from all over and then completely misread it or hit an awful speed putt. We actually three putted multiple times in a 2 MAN SCRAMBLE! I finally started hitting some pretty good putts that would dart away from the hole with about 1" to go. Frustrating weekend.

THIS!!! Described me to a T today hitting everything great on the range and didn't translate to the round. I feel ya buddy. A bit demoralizing. A few of the putts I had were for birds and of course the comeback putts were farther so I missed all but one. Birdie holes turned to bogeys.. Frustrated..
