Battery powered Bluetooth speakers are beginning to bring the boom to golf though. It's like taking a boom box backpacking.

Amen, music belongs at a rock concert.

I know we all have to deal with natures creatures in some form or another: alligators in Florida, rattlers in Arizona. But for those of you who think the Midwest can be a cakewalk you've never had to deal with mayflies (which appear in June). attachicon.gifIMG_4186.JPG

What is up with people Tatooing themselves lately? It's not a few anymore. I'm seeing people walking around like a living Picasso. In all walks of life. And even at elite golf courses

And that's a problem/rant, how? Is it interfering with your quality of life? Does it offend you that someone does something to their body that you don't like?

Doesn't anyone work anymore?  I had to go to Walmart.  I don't like shopping much anyway, so I try to pick a non-rush hour time to go.  10am on a work day and the roads are packed; finally get to Walmart, and I can't find a parking spot!!!  rant rant rant!!!

I can relate. We live in a touristy town. And NEVER go to walmart on weekend or holiday weeks between May and September.

This is in no way, shape or form, an attempt at a political statement.  If anyone should feel the need to reply in such a way as to turn it into one, please don't!

The Social Security Administration moved into a city-owned building two doors up the street from my office on the same block in early June.  I parked in the lot behind my office at 6:30am on Monday morning, a full two-and-a-half hours before the Social Security Administration office opens.  The line was already around the corner and halfway down the block!  If there were fewer than 50 people in that line, I would be shocked.  And not a single person appeared to be over the age of 30!

Again, just an observation.

Many years ago--in the 80's--I was an Insurance Agent in Tampa.  So a lot of my driving was during the day going to various appointments and all.   Occasionally I would run into large amounts of traffic, and said out-loud to myself...."Why are these people on the road and not at work, they can't all be insurance agents"   :D

I'll counter with... why does Ohio make you pay to drive on the interstate???

Not the only state that does this. And the same could apply for

Bridges and tunnels.

Why do toll bridges look like they are about to fall over. If I have to pay to drive on it why can't you make it safe?

Every time I drive through Indiana on the turnpike I get pissed because the road is in terrible shape. If you are going to charge me to drive on a federally funded highway, it out to be in good shape. At least the Ohio turnpike is pretty smooth, albeit constantly under construction.

Been a paying PGA Tour live patron for around 4 years now.

I am getting irritated with the coverage that is only on Facebook, before that it was Twitter only.

What about the actual paying customers?

I refuse to have a Facebook account, so as a paying customer I am missing out.

You mean the Mac? Yeah I hate that bridge. It has to be getting close to the end of its life with the constant salt and junk on it for 6 months... I'd rather drive all the way around through Chicago to get to the LP.

Wasn't sure what to think when I first read this. But now, I tend agreeing with you.The cave system was forbidden without a proper guide and it was monsoons season. He knew the caves were dangerous and also about them flooding this time of year.Im happy they were saved. But his stupidity or whatever you want too call it cost the life of one rescuer. And almost cost the lives of all of his players and himself.Im sure they have different laws their. But if here, he should be charged for the death of the rescuer and possible deaths of his players. He was in charge and the grown up in this circumstance.Surely not an hero like many call him.More like an irresponsible arse

Keep it in the short stuff
