A little rant -  If you read the car buying thread, my wife and I bought her a new(er) vehicle a few weeks ago.  It's a used 2017 Volvo XC60 SUV.  Nice car and she likes it a lot.  We bought it from a very reputable used car lot in town.  The only problem is that it only came with one remote key; we need two.  It must be purchased at a Volvo dealer, of course, and it must be paired with the car and other remote to make sure they work together.  The problem other than the $350 cost?  We have no Volvo dealer within 250 miles; Portland or Seattle.  Fortunately, I am in Corvallis, OR this weekend visiting my dad on his 88th birthday, and there is a Volvo dealer in town.  I'm scheduled in their service dept tomorrow morning.

Been there unfortunately... my wife wanted a remote start in her S40 and in the end was about $1000. I needed a key so they could bypass the security system and was around $400! All around bad experience getting it installed and it only sometimes worked haha.
Wouldn’t recommend it but they probably come standard by now.

I hope it all works out for you!

Out of here how?! This country for vacation? This website for the night? Golf in general? We need answers

I think it was this thread he was referring to.  Nifty and him were getting pissed at each other for posting about politics, so Ole Gray decided to leave.

Sorry didn't read this sooner, might've saved you some $ and hassle -- you can put the Volvo app on a smartphone and lock/unlock, remote start, etc., even check the car's location on a map.

So that's how the thieves get in and steal the car!!  😉

I'm convinced anyone who rolls under is a psychopath. THIS is the correct way to roll your TP:

Here's my rant...earlier this year, half of one of the Bradford pears came down onto the back patio and I had to take a day off to clean it up.

This morning while eating breakfast we heard several loud cracking noises followed by a big thump...yep, the rest of that bastard came down. Nothing got hit this time and I guess it'll save me the money of having it removed but I really wanted to brew another batch of beer on Monday, not clean up a tree.

This was a 5-6 year fight with my wife after we moved in together years ago haha. I’m an over and she’s an under. I finally convinced her over was right and all is right in my bathroom again haha

There is no wall or anything for reference, so I would contend this patent actually shows under, but the view is from the wall side so the perforations are seen clearly. That's just my take, as an under "psychopath" according to @GolfSpy STUDque.

Had this discussion with my wife earlier this year - she was an "under" (but, no, not overly psychopathic) - so she looked it up and found that original patent, too. Google does many things.........

Ha! They have high tech code and frequency scanners. But for the Volvo app - you have to be in the car with it running to pair the app to the car.

LOL.  I've chalked up my wife's incorrect under placement of the TP roll as another lefty anomaly.

I'll just say this, we will always have different opinions on politics and religion. This is just a fact of life. X will have different views than Y. And just because X has different views than Y, doesn't mean that they can't be friends and at the very least, they can be civil toward one another, and not tear each other down. We are on a GOLF forum, not a political or religious forum, therefore any and all political and religious or generally inflammatory  comments should be off limits.
When I get a few minutes I will usually spend it here. I've lost "friends" who couldn't have a civil conversation about such topics so I've just began to avoid other social media. When I do log on to Facebook or Twitter I usually won't stay more than 5-10 minutes

Well said. Glad we're all back on the topic of golf ( I'm especially needing it now that the clubs are packed away for the winter).

I got wound up and lacked the discipline to let it go--I admit that--

but Gray brought up the Georgia election completely on his own,

and other people responded to Big Money's suggested source of incivility.

I regret responding now.

I thrive on this stuff.

The forum as a group doesn't.

That's what I must try to remember when I should overlook a comment.
