Got Problems?

Recommended Posts

Okay, another rant. Tan lines. Oh my goodness! I have awful tan lines on my ankles. It's terrible! And we've only had sun for the last 3 days.

I've had to wear pants most of the last couple weeks, but before then my feet didn't even look like they belonged to my legs 😂

So, I went to the course today to get some last minute practice time in for a tournament I have tomorrow. I really wanted to work on putting and chippin/pitching. Ever heard of the Drive, Chip, & Putt thing? Whole green was completely taken over by these kids, most of which had all of the nicest equipment out there. One kid I saw as I was walking by... about 8 years old, Callaway GBB Epic Sub Zero driver, Titleist 917 fairway metals, and some sweet looking irons, but I didn't get the model. So I left without any practice and really jealous of those kids' equipment... Oh well.

Wondering if some %tge of those kids may (already) be partly equipment sponsored..........

Oh, PS:

I have MD3 wedges and love 'em. Check on Callawaypreowned.com for deals and occasional extra % off sales.

Yeah. Do you know how that would work? A sponsorship, I mean? They had all different brands, so it looked almost like a Club Champion kind of deal...

A lot of companies offer team discounts for kids school programs.

That's gotta be one of the worst feelings in the world. Hopefully TaylorMade does you right!

I've heard a lot of stories recently with TM clubs cracking... I wonder if there are just a lot of unlucky folks, or if their QC is poop?

A friend I recently reconnected with after 25 years found out yesterday he has cancer.... sometimes things just suck.

Ace, genuinely sorry to hear about your friend.    As his friend, your role will be to support him and help keep his spirits up so that he will aggressively fight this horrible disease.   Depending on the nature of the cancer, it is no longer the death sentence it once was.   With the advancement in treatments, every day one survives increases the likelihood of continued survival.   Again, the best thing you can do for your friend is to not let him give up.

Thanks man... I talked to him last week and my entire objective was to talk about things other than his diagnosis; reflect/reminisce on stuff to hopefully bring some joy into his life for a while and get his mind on something else.

Really appreciate the words of advice; hard to believe but this is the first time anyone close to me (family/friends) has been afflicted with this cruel and unforgiving disease.

He'll be going in for his biopsy early this week to determine if it has spread but so far it is just testicular cancer.  Fingers crossed...
