silver & black 6,420
Last rant from me. We had liftoff last night and the pain was the single worst experience I've had which includes the other injuries I've mentioned plus having half the top joint of a finger taken off by a table saw. It was horrific. I hope that's the last of that because I never want to experience anything like that again. Me and my arse are out. Table saw injuries are not fun/funny. I cut my left thumb down to the tendon in 1983.... it still bothers me. I cut 1/2" off of my left ring finger in 1991 on an overhead router. Worst pain I have ever experienced. I miss that half inch of finger to this day.
cksurfdude 10,920
Can you take it to somewhere that will put it on a scanner and give you the codes? That would help immensely.Good thought! It's still at the dealer this week; they gave her a loaner while they're test driving it for a few days. Their latest guess .. oops, I mean "evaluation"? The non-OEM (Sylvania Silver Star) brake light bulbs I put in after the originals burnt out...... No kidding. Their latest guess .. oops, I mean "evaluation"? The non-OEM (Sylvania Silver Star) brake light bulbs I put in after the originals burnt out...... No kidding. They're full of chit. It could be a simple ground issue, but unless they give you the codes, you'll never find out. If they don't give them to you, go to an auto parts store and have them scan it for you and give you any fault codes. I can do it myself because I have an OBD II reader than uses blue tooth and a couple of apps on my phone that'll pretty much read everything. 2 Quote In the bag: Driver: TSi2 Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 6.0 Hybrid: 939X 3 Hybrid Project X Even Flow Riptide 6.0 Hybrid: Maltby KE4 HDI 4 and 5 UST Recoil 660 F4 Irons: Maltby DBM Forged UST Recoil 660 F4 Wedge: Smartsole S Wedge: SCOR4161 46° and 50° Putter Sycamore 005 Wide Blade Bag: Alpha Convoy 514 Balls: MTB-X or Black Cart: CaddyLite ONE Ver. 8 God Bless America, God save the Queen, God defend New Zealand and thank Christ for Australia! My father-in-law bought a scanner from Harbor Freight for $15. We take the codes off the scanner and plug them into Google. Never had an issue doing this and I feel certain it has saved us in countless wasted dollars and time.

wbealsd 1,063
My wife has a 2002 Mercedes E320 wagon that has gremlins in it. When she makes a right hand turn into a driveway, the doors unlock. When it gets cold (starting about now because we have a freeze warning tonight), the windows don't always go up. The LCDs on the dash have missing segments. She loves the car, but has been scoping out SUVs. Very few of them have the luggage space of the E320 wagon until you look at the largest models; then they are too big. Have you checked out the Mercedes GLC 300? It really feels a lot like driving the E350, just a bit higher off the ground with a lot more room in the back. Just picked one up before Labor Day for a long trip out East. (Still keeping the E350, though) 2 Quote What's In The Bag Driver Titleist 913 D2 10.5* (set to 9.75* / Neutral) 46" Paderson KINETIXX Kevlar Green - R Fairway Wood Tom Wishon 949 MC 16.5* Fujikura Speeder 569-A Hybrid Hibore 22* Aldila VS Proto Blue Irons G series 5-P Wedges Glide 54* SS / 60* TS - SCOR 53* Putter Nike Method 001 / P2 Reflex grip 35" Ball Master Grip Tour C4 Bag Datrek DG Lite

She's still looking though; might be awhile unless one of the gremlins gets really nasty. 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

My friend took her car to a garage and they charged her $120 for an OBD II scan. She blew her top when I told her you can get a pretty decent one for that price.
