Shot Saver SLR 500 - What do you think of this economic rangefinder?

It's a good one that many around here own. Including myself. This particular RF goes by many names and brands. Mine is sold by MG Golf and called the M400.

I'm pretty sure it's a Chinese product (like what isn't).

However, it's a very good LRF for the money. You'll like it.

Thanks for the informations; I bought it on Amazon.it at a very low price (€ 87.5) and it will come to me next thursday. I asked the community because there were no reviews on Amazon and product specifications were rather sparse. Thank you so much because I was a little doubtful if I had made a good deal.

I've been using it for a few years... price is good and does what I need. No need to pay extra for the bells and whistles.

Hello friends,

I have received today the Shotsaver SLR500, but, unfortunately, it did not work and then, to my extreme disappointment, I sent it back to get a refund. These things send me into a rage. The anger subsided, I ordered a new rangefinder but, this time, with a famous brand: NIKON. I purchased the model ACULON AL11. I have not found any reviews in MGS ........ hopefully well !!!

It should be received next 12.07, then I will tell you; in any case thanks of the support.

Hi friends,

I received yesterday the range finder Nikon Aculon AL 11. This morning I tried it on the driving range. Very, very good. Small (It is in the palm of your hand), lightweight (gr. 125 without battery), waterproof (IPX4), very bright lens, real 6x magnification 6-550 yards, measuring also "continuous", very stable, MODE button to select the yard / meter units.The range finder does not calculate the slope.  Included nylon pouch with velcro that can be attached either on the belt or worn around the neck, or other, with the included lanyard. Bought on Amazon.it. Quality / price ratio, in my opinion, excellent: € 138 (CR2 3V battery included).

I'll stand by my M400 from MG Golf. The $140 was money well spent.
