golfluvzme
Didn't the Daytona used to be sort of the flagship of the TaylorMade putter line-up? This one seems to be the result of an idea on the fly that should have stayed put. I have a very open mind when it comes to putter design, but this one does absolutely nothing for me. Just my 2-cents, please take it as such. LaMont in AZ
jamo
I thought the Daytona was the anser model? I'm not a big fan of this one, primarily because of the circle hole on the flange.

Moecat
Definitely does not look like the Daytona (aka TM's version of the Anser) of old. Does this mean that TM eventually plans to phase out its "core" line?

Matt Saternus
What would have been so wrong about the normal Daytona in white? Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus
Justin66
What would have been so wrong about the normal Daytona in white? It probably has something to do with the ball-sized hole in the mallet; coupled with the black lines, it's supposed to improve alignment. I do agree with you, though, that a "normal" Daytona should've been just fine.

I do agree with you, though, that a "normal" Daytona should've been just fine. I just bought the Japanese issue Daytona Ghost and it is SUH-WEET! Gets the ball rolling. I know TM has a Kia Ma Daytona without the hole in the back and it is sexxxay as well.

jamo
Guys, the Daytona without the HOLE will be released late October. I don't doubt that that's true but it makes me wonder why they would call this one the Daytona model then? Why not make up a new name for an anser style putter with a hole?
