Addicted2Golf
So, these are the new conforming grooves, eh? A couple of thoughts: I wonder how the cavity will effect the feel compared to the CG15's. The sole looks a little wider than the CG15. Are these more geared towards game improvement? jamo
These look akin to the MX series wedges Mizuno released in Japan. Cool.
JohnBarry
Man you guys have been busy over the weekend. I like the look of them, don't see much difference from the CG15s, but I assume these are conforming. captseadog
I do not like the cg 16 wedge. I think in an effort to look like they are coming out with a new improved product, they have had to morph a great wedge into something that I think looks worse then any other wedge on the market. I will stick with my old cleveland for as long as I can. I wish the PGA would have not changed the wedge rules.
Smilesy
They look to me to be a replacement for the CG14 wedges. Cleveland seem to have a players wedge and a GI wedge series now. Not a bad idea IMO, should fit more people.

dansrixon
CG16 will basically be a 588 head at address with a cavity underneath. It will most likely be the most popular Cleveland wedge on the PGA Tour as it is replacing the Cg14, which was very popular with Cleveland and non-Cleveland staffers
SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted October 5, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted October 5, 2010 Nice that they have lost the triangle in the GI wedge offering. Nice too that I ordered two CG14's today before seeing this post Volvo Intorqueo All the cool kids follow me on twitter: @GolfspyDave If you are not a cool kid, following me on twitter will make you cool...
