What non-golf gear do you use for golf?

I have driveway markers for alignment. I also have a container of chalk for refilling chalk lines that I use on the driving range to put down a line. I put the balls on the line and hope that when I am done all of the divots are on the left of the line (right hander).

I have seen this a few times, but I will say it too, Lowe's driveway markers for my alignment sticks/head cover holder.

I have a fishing hook on the end of a string.  tie it around the last button on my shirt and I keep my body still during my swing.  Learned the hard way and I do not use barbed hooks any more..........

 

But I do carry a chalk line, driveway markers and about 20 different sharpies.

Sometimes depending on the weather, I use my Nike running shoes because they are comfortable and provide enough traction on the the course. It's been so hard to find golf shoes that fit properly

Yep!  The natural course of action!  I highly recommend Foz's Wild Turkey Honey Sting.  Great for a cold day!  It was a little sweet for me at first, but I got used to it!!  The Ghost Peppers are a nice touch.
