Spring Outing At World Woods Golf Club (FL) March or April 2017

I didn't vote, because I can't make those dates work.    However, if you can go, and have never been to World Woods:  GO!!  what a awesome pair of tracks.  Maybe the coolest practice facility I have ever seen.  Not jealous of you that are going, but certainly envious!

Yeah, I really want to play World Woods, I'll do everything I can to change his mind (maybe even pick up his round, since I"m his house-guest a couple nights.   As I book and things become more definite, I'll keep this thread updated for anyone that wants to join in.

Living just 45 minutes away, I would jump at the chance to play WW with ya'll.....BUT I run our weekly Saturday game(40-50 players) and April 8 & 9 is the weekend for our Spring Blitz Two Day Tournament. Best of luck to you in planning this terrific event.

Every 6 months we have a two day points tournament. Usually October and April. This year it was scheduled 6 months ago for Masters weekend. What about the Friday before? April 7th?

The afternoon would be a possibility, unless you are committed to watching The Masters.  It will depend on what time I get back down there from Pensacola.   My goal right now is to be on the road early from PNS and hopefully get in not much past noon or 1:00 (I know I'll lose an hour in timezone)   You are up in North or New Tampa aren't you, so that's not too far.   If he's open to playing Friday afternoon but wants to play at his course, would that work for you?    If not I could still meet you at yours, since I'll be playing with him Saturday AM anyway, most likely. 

 

Also depends on what my "host" does or doesn't want to do that day.    As it turned out I had to move return home up to Saturday night as opposed to Sunday.   So it appears Friday afternoon? and Saturday AM will be the times I can play. 

 

I'll keep you posted things.
