Hybrid: Cobra 2H set at 17.5* w/regular shaft & 4H at 21* regular shaft

Irons: Cobra F6 4-9 2* flat w/Matrix red tie regular shafts

Wedges: Cobra F6 PW 45* GW 50* & SW 55*

Putter: Evnroll ER6 by Guerin Rife 33"

Ball: Wilson Duo, Snell MTB & Bridgestone Tour B330RX

The Foz has a Powerbilt Driver in the bag . Man I loved those things back when they were Persimmon woods.

I won this one 2 years ago in a Facebook contest.   I ordered it with the Aldila RIP beta shaft as it was the closest i could get to the Project X shafts which i liked. I then replace the grip with a Midsize Pure P2 Wrap.  As we entered the "Dry Season" in Tampa, I decided to pull it out of the closet and give it a go.......Three weeks later it has made it into my bag.  My other driver is a Cobra King LTD w/Aldila Rogue Black shaft or Paderson Kinetix shaft.  The Powerbilt has a lower flight giving me a lot of roll that i can take advantage of.

 

Yesterday, I drove  205 yards to the left side of #16 (dogleg right Par 5 408 yd).  I then, put my Bombtech 3W just 12 feet from the back pin(195 yds), lipping out the Eagle for a tap in Par.....All because I could get me drive into position to get around the Live oak at the dogleg.  I can also hit various shades of Fades with it as well....200 - 225 yds.

 

 

 

The pix does not show the huge Live Oak that extends halfway across the fairway at the dogleg(right side).

Nice bag Foz! I'm still waiting to see how your Stage 2 review comes out on the Evnroll putter but based on your WITB, I'm taking it to mean it's working out well. I'm curious about the driver. Do you still alternate in the King LTD in or has the Powerbilt beaten it out completely?

I am sure I will alternate them.  Currently, the King needs a new grip for the Paderson shaft.  I have just not had time to replace it....probably will put a Pure P2 Wrap Midsize on it(same as on the Powerbilt).  When i use the Powerbilt, I have to change my swing a tad, adding a slight hesitation just before the downswing to keep my hands in front of the clubhead.

I've got one open spot in the bag that I was going to put a SW in- Was looking at going with a RTX/Vokey 56, but I'm intrigued by you grabbing the SW. Do you have experience with Vokey/RTX/Scor? If so how does the F6 compare?

I have the SCOR 41* 45* 49* 53* & 57* so I guess you could say I have some SCOR experience.  I gamed the SCOR wedges, mostly the 49* 53* & 57* for about 18 months.  However, I liked the new F6 GW so that I wanted to try the matching SW.  I still like the SCOR wedges and their "V soles".  I will probably go back to them down the road, but for now I am enjoying the F6 wedges.

That works appreciate the response. Just looked at Cobras site and the SW isn't offered right now so will have to see if I can find one elsewhere.

Years and years ago, when I lived in NC, I tried some King Cobra irons and theyve stuck in my head ever since. I have never seen Cobra at the demo days I've been to, so I don't get a chance to try them out.

I'm in a similar boat as Foz. Got an AFO DFX as my backup and game a Fly-Z+. It's back and forth for me. Both are awesome drivers.

The AFO w/Aldila RIP beta shaft has a higher Flight path than the Aldila Rogue Black in my Cobra King LTD but I am getting more roll.
