Heard a review this morning seeing it in IMAX or 3D isn't worth extra $.

I heard the same thing from a reviewer on TV this morning as well. Hard to imagine though It would seem to be made for that.

Dunno thought it was awesome. It was $15, not much more than a regular movie. I thought it was worth it for the battle scenes alone.

 

Great movie, I enjoyed it.

Don't remember what year I saw the first Star Wars film (I was born in '81) but I was young.  We grew up watching Star Wars and Star Trek Next Generation, so I've always been a fan of both franchises.  Love what Disney is doing with the new expansion.  Sadly we won't be able to go see Rogue One until next week.

Oh, yeah - remember commuting home from job in NYC .. waiting in Penn (railroad) Sta for train .. and going into arcade to "play" ;-) Star Wars ..

 

(those big, free-standing games)

I saw Empire Strikes Back in the theatre, it was the first movie I ever went to.  I've seen every other movie in the theatre except for Force Awakens (and a New Hope).  I didn't see that one until it came out on DVD.

 

I went yesterday during work yesterday with a co-worker.  Theatre was empty and it was cool to see in IMAX.  As I think back on the movie, lots of questions are coming up and I'd say that the last 30 minutes might be my favorite of any of the SW movies ever.
