We have two cats that we inherited when an old lady a few houses away died a few years ago.  They are outside cats.  We have considerably more snow on the ground after this weekend's storm.  They don't like it, so you will not be seeing any pictures.  That's just the way cats are.  Sorry.

Thanks.  They are mom and daughter cats.  The daughter cat is still quite active.  So far this winter she has killed and eaten two squirrels and several birds.  The mom is so old that my wife didn't think she would make it through last winter.  Still hanging in there.  This year we put up cat houses with heaters inside.  Good thing; last winter it didn't get below 25* all winter (played golf every day).  It hasn't been up to 25* until today since New Years Day.

Ha. But not all cats - my kitty, Fluffy, was outside (actually *insisted* on being outside) everyday (and night). She'd come in to eat and sit in my lap for a while ;-)

I am sure these were indoor cats, but I do not let cats in the house.  I guess after several years they have adapted.  It's ironic, my wife is the cat person and has had cats in the house, but she is allergic to them!  I'm a dog guy, but I traveled so much for most of my life that it didn't make sense to have a dog.  We have to get someone to feed the cats when we go on a trip for more than a weekend.

Yeah that's a bit ironic .. she's allergic and you were away (and now you're away in the golf course ). I do feel guilty about leaving my guys when I go out..........

When I traveled, mostly to Russia from 1994-2004, I was gone a minimum of 2 weeks; made 30+ trips.  Now, my wife and I travel a few long weekends a year plus a 2 week trip each winter to a warm place for golf.  We also spend a week in late April or early May golfing in the Northwest.  To much trouble for pets; we have to negotiate with neighbors about the cats for the trip to Phoenix in 3 weeks.

Not to get too sappy but two years ago today we rescued this sweet girl. She has been a loving pup since we brought her home and I think my kids may like her a bit as well.

If I could get my boys to cooperate for a pic or 2, I would post them up. Raider is a Lab/Shar pei' mix. He's 90-95 lbs. Howie is a Bull Mastiff/Rottweiler mix. He's 150 lbs. of big baby...lol.
