Really interesting dog, and I want one for upland hunting and a fishing companion. No but know people that have them. My black one is a German wirehair pointer with a short coat. I use both of mine for waterfowl and upland hunted them from Pennsylvania to Minnesota for ducks, woodcock(timberdoodle), quail, pheasant, and grouse. Cksurf I don't trim mine much becauseI train other people's dogs and the necks are always different. StrokerAce
couldn't agree more about the Jack's.... they are a handful. We wanted a "little" dog and there aren't too many but a Jack was one of them that had our interest and once we realized how much energy they had we went with a Shi-Chon... Shitzu/Bijon Frise(sp?) mix. He plays around for about 15-20 minutes and then gets worn out and wants to "rest". cute dog though..about the size of a large cat and he doesn't shed. here he is checking it some wedges ... tony@CIC, sirchunksalot, cksurfdude and 1 other 4 Quote Driver- Cobra Aerojet LS Woods- Cobra LTD 3w 15*, 5W 19*, F9 24* Irons- XXIO X (6-A) Wedges- Callaway Jaws Raw (54/58) Putter- Bettinardi BB56 Ball- Maxfli Tour X Buggy- Motocaddy M7 GPS Remote Electric Caddy Bag- Motocaddy Dry-Series Proudly testing for 2024:
