Our course waters all night long.  Early in the morning the grass is wet, and when the sun is overhead, it sucks the moisture out of the ground.  Today's high was 103* and our humidity is typically 25%, but when we played at 9:30 it was only 84*; the humidity had to be around 70%.  Felt like when I was living in D.C. in the summer.  It was 102* when we finished.

heart and lung diseases... and aggravate other serious health

I played yesterday afternoon, 98 with heat index of 118.... absolutely no breeze, it was hot!

It' only 88 degrees however it says real feel is 100 and I believe that!  My dog and I went for a short walk and it's oppresive to say the least.  :blink:

Just think... in a few short months many of us will be complaining about having to wear jackets and how wearing so many layers affects our swing.  Some of you won't be playing at all.  Hot is not really that bad.

My favorite time for golfing in Georgia is the Fall. Nice cool crisp days where you have a pep in ya step. Beautiful time of year to enjoy golf. 🏌️

We had six players show up this morning and we started in a light drizzle.  Once we got to the fourth hole it was pouring down so we hauled arse to the parking lot, loaded our gear up and headed home.  Got home, took me a hot shower and now sitting looking out the window with some bright rays coming through.   :blink:

Low humidity in Georgia today with temps in the upper 80's will feel much better!  It's getting better for the next several days so we are happy campers.

Hurricane about 24 hrs away. Gonna play tommorow tomorrow and probably won't be able to play for 2 weeks if their predictions are right. Possible 20-30 inches of rain.
