Weather in your neck of the woods?

Getting chilly. Starting the days off in the high 30s/low 40s. Luckily we have not gone into full rainy season yet, but had quite a bit Sun/Mon this week.

Sun not up until 7 am and going down at 6:45 pm. Makes it hard to play before or after work now.

I am on the eastern end of our time zone, so the sun is down about 15 minutes early than  Seattle.  My wife is closing up shop 30 minutes early, so we can get in 9 holes before dark.  This might be the last week for golf after work.

The weather up here has sucked for the last 2 weeks or so. Raining, cold 40*’s, and windy.

Great weather here in northwest Ohio - been able to play every day - going to turn cooler tomorrow (60's) but I'm ok with that

We average 43 inches of rainfall per year.  We've had 22 inches since September 9th!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the 9th fairway at my home club taken at about 6PM last night.  The stream banks are less than 8 feet wide and the normal stream volume is less than 4 inches deep.  The bridge can be seen in the middle of the picture.  In my 12 years as a member, I've never seen this stream outside its banks!

The only positive I would see out of that is duck hunting in flooded timber but I'm a redneck and think of things like that.

It's still raining extremely hard right now.  A local meteorologist said we have received two "50 year storms" and a "1,000 year storm" since September 9th.  We've been at or above flood stage since that time.

Nowhere for the water to go but up!

It rained an inch or two on me today when hunting ducks. Roads were flooded on my way there it was not fun.

Had rain earlier this week, but clear now. Mid upper 50's at each day. Just had our first frost warning overnight. Supposed to be near 60 tomorrow but with 15-20 mph winds. Supposed to golf in it...Should be challenging.

We actually got rain on Saturday! A rare occurrence here and totally unexpected. Sunday was muddy and overcast in the morning. Today it’s windy but expected to be in the low 80s.

The last week has been brutal in the mornings. Waking up to low-mid 40s but tons of fog. Most courses aren't letting groups out until 10:30. Yesterday the Marine Layer didn't end up burning off until about 4 pm. So we got an hour and a half of sunshine before it set.

However, the temps are perfect in my mind.

A question for you Floridians: why is it that you guys put on parkas when it's 70 but when you walk into a grocery store the A/C is cracked down to 65 and you're walking around in short sleeves

Never understood the A/C levels in FL either. The War Dept always has a “coverup” at the ready for restaurants.
When I lived in CT when it was hot wore shorts &short sleeves, cold long pants, long sleeves and jacket. HVAC set at appropriate levels.

Northwest Ohio update: While it's 38 this morning it's supposed to hit 57 today so we'll be on the course with a 1:00 tee time. Between now and the 31st looks like we have a couple of days for golf - where the temps and winds will be moderate.

So, here it is Nov 2, 2018, and I woke up to 60º at 5am this morning.  It's now 2pm and it's 72º and sunny!!!  I sure wish the 30-40 mph wind with 50+ mph gusts would quit.

At least most of the leaves are gone from the trees!!

Yup amazing how much more tolerant you can be of temps if there's no wind. We have our annual Turkey Scramble tomorrow. Forecast 48, sunny and winds 11mph. Should be nice except the course is soaked from 3 days of rain.

Well I had an inkling we might be done for the season, since we had a lot of rain and  30's temp. But the light dusting of snow definitely closed everything down. Time to get those house projects finished so I'm good to go next spring.
