40* @7:30 in FL. Breakfast with the guys and went to the gym.
Temp wasn’t really that bad but the wind was the killer.

Shoveled out over a foot of snow to go to work today while the rest of city looks like it's shutdown with schools cancelled and no clients so far. In all, A CNY November.

Aw come on Foz!  You owe it to everyone up north to suck it up and brave these arctic Florida conditions!    You can't make them envious if you just wuss out at the first sign of perfect (Florida) cold weather for golf!  I'll be out there later today, carrying the load that you are failing to uphold.

Aw come on Foz!  You owe it to everyone up north to suck it up and brave these arctic Florida conditions!    You can't make them envious if you just wuss out at the first sign of perfect (Florida) cold weather for golf!  I'll be out there later today, carrying the load that you are failing to uphold.

We got our first snow last night--not a dusting, either.

It was a legit snowfall, maybe three inches or so.

Although New England has always been my home, I never cultivated an appreciation for snow.

Our average winter  is 47",

but some winters we get over a hundred

and some,  just a couple of feet total.

 

A light dusting on Christmas Eve is enough to put me in a bad mood.

If I physically can't play golf,

than I certainly can't shovel snow, 

so it's a good thing that the lawn people do it (I don't mow or landscape, either).

I wish that I'd have had that earlier in my life.

Started out cold this AM, and all the way through our garage sale that ended at noon. Sun came out and it got up to the mid-60s. Would’ve been a GREAT day for golf/range, but not while we’re trying to move!!!

Had snow last week. 8 degrees a few days ago and today its 43 at 0800

This is the 9th fairway at my home club taken at about 6PM last night.  The stream banks are less than 8 feet wide and the normal stream volume is less than 4 inches deep.  The bridge can be seen in the middle of the picture.  In my 12 years as a member, I've never seen this stream outside its banks!

That's a lot of rain - it'll take a long time for your course to recover. 

It looks like we missed the major snow storm. Temp is 43 and slight rain here in northwest Ohio. Looks like Michigan is getting dumped on, but, thankfully the snow portion of the front is moving northeast. 

Our course is officially closed today for the season so in the scheme of things it really doesn't matter.

Wind is big story here today.  It is supposed to be Gusts of up to 40mph.  And the temps are plummeting.  Looks like fall is turning to winter soon. Glad I put my Christmas Decorations up this past weekend.

well the torrential rain hasnt stopped. Been 10 days now, very cold as well.

Course tweeted that spikes are now forbidden and flippers are compulsory
