Still snowing right now as I type this.  I don't think we got quite as much snow here as they originally thought, it's less than a foot anyway.

In the span of about 30 minutes yesterday we has almost every type of weather we get in MN.  66mph wind gust, thunder, lighting, snow, sleet, rain and hail.  I wish I was kidding.

Kids had no school yesterday and a 2hr delay this morning.  Might have to go putter shopping this afternoon and at least I have The Masters on TV.

 

Funny side note, some of our snow was light brown yesterday and everyone wanted to know why.  Meteorologist answered it on the news last night.  This storm is so big, and the winds so strong, that it was a dust plume from New Mexico that turned our snow brown.  They actually showed the dust plume on radar it was so big.

Just got back from Mississippi where my one round was rained out. Round at French Lick was breezy but warm. Rest of the week is hit and miss. Should be 70s today through Thursday but won't be able to play Thursday due to rain. Depending on how heavy it is,  may not get more than one or two rounds in this week.

Weather is sunny and the fairways are starting to dry out a bit - but unfortunately the golf is stalled while i finish mulching. Second truck  just arrived with 7 yds.

Going to get over 70 here the next two days and Good Friday is the "official" start of the season. But I'm too used to this. It's probably about 3 more weeks of slapping a ball through the mud. Time to work on mental habits and routine. Forget score till it firms up.

I can only get out tomorrow morning to play and the chance of rain during the hours I can play is 95%. So there is a chance and I had to cobble together a bag of clubs from the club room because I forgot mine at my place upstate.

I had a tee time booked for this morning and was rained out. Wind is howling as well. Booked an 8am for tomorrow but it is supposed to rain until about 2 tomorrow so I may switch it. Oh wait, have to do Easter Brunch at 2. Grrrrr.......

Lovely golf weather in Scotland over the weekend. 70'F through the day. Wee bit breezy in the evening but still playing until after 8pm in shorts. Practise Friday, Knockout qualifier on Saturday (couldn't putt), 9 holes yesterday evening and hopefully 9 holes after work today.

Forecast not so good heading to next weekend.

in fact I would say biblical! Storm Hannah lands tonight and all through Saturday, you practice all week in ok weather then have to play in monsoon weather and wonder why you go up another 0.1

This is just cruel.... I mean absolutely brutal ... especially when you all have had such a harsh winter already.  Ugh. I feel for you.  Hopefully everyone stays safe and it gets warm real soon.

Yep. Talked with the manager at the course yesterday for about 15 minutes. He said they considered June, July, August and 2 weeks of September profitable... so 104 days?....

Opened May 3rd last year and closed October 24th.

How do they stay open?

I feel your pain guys with lousy weather and no play, but it’s just as bad with beautiful weather and injuries keeping me only being able to chip & putt.
Either way, sucks.....
