As usual we are on the edge of the stuff.  Speaking selfishly ....I hope the snow line shifts just 50 miles north and it won't blanket the golf courses around here!   😳

I appreciate the well wishes... it ain’t tho. 😂

last year it was seized up completely. Had to get down to the flywheel to free it up, changed the spark plug because water got into the cylinder and cleared that out. Now it turns over but won’t start.

we were going to bring it to my wife’s cousin who does small engine work but haven’t gotten a chance to due to some COVID exposures and quarantines. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah sometimes I shovel just for the exercise, but I hope we don't get as much snow as some tracks have for this storm, that would be a lot to shovel. That and hope your driveway is short, mine is long and dirt so I have to shovel a lot of spots to fight mud in the spring.

Eh I guess is medium sized, thankfully I don’t need to do all of it and it’s narrow up at the street where the plow comes by.

Hoping for the lower end of the totals!

Yep  ..,..  Not ideal is one way of putting it.  I'm in the 8" - 12" zone ... so I'd officially say it pretty much sucks!  At least if you want to golf.  If you want to ski, then it's awesome.

28 this morning and clear.  Anyplace that is still puddled from yesterdays .9" of rain has thin ice and the wet deck boards are slick, the dog slid down the steps!  High today of 44.

We are on the line of the 1 - 3 or 3 - 6 inches of snow coming tomorrow....and the trace of snow area is not far away either, that is what I am hoping for.  I hope the Poconos get the snow for the ski slope people, I wouldn't mind taking a trip up there in a few weeks myself for a day of skiing.

I think that snow / rain line shifted and not in our favor....It started about 11 and is really coming down heavily at the moment.  About 2" so far, things are desperate here, we have all the TP and bread and milk we need but the putting green is closed!    😠

So just like us, except it's been like that since March.  Restaurants have been closed most of the year except delivery and takeout.  They were open for a couple of months at 25% capacity in Sep/Oct but that's shut down again.

right after i took that pic we had some really big snow flakes for about 15 min then it turned to rain.  Its been raining since, but is right at 32* so its freezing on the trees.  The spousal unit went to pick up the kid and called about 200 yards from the house because there was a tree across the road.  It was broken up enough to get 1/2 the road clear and I called to get them to bring something big enough to drag the main trunk off the other half of the road.  I hope we don't lose power tonight.

We ate at Lunas Fish House in Yachats. Chowder, oyster shooters, calamari, fish tacos, and chips. Very good meal. We cant eat inside but we can eat in a mostly enclosed shelter. Tables spaced far apart complete with propane heaters. Warm enough to sit in with a light jacket or sweatshirt.

right after i took that pic we had some really big snow flakes for about 15 min then it turned to rain.

Best of luck to you.  We don't get heavy snowfalls (just too dry).  Our snowflakes are usually quite small.  We do have freezing rain once in awhile, but our power is quite stable even though we do have high winds.  I can't remember the power being off more than an hour in the 51 years I've lived here.  I've thought about a backup power generator, but there's just no need.

24 this morning with clear skies.  Mostly rain last night but I do see a light dusting on top of the ice so it turned back to snow briefly before blowing out of here.  I saw the road crew moving the tree trunk this morning, I guess I should have taken the chainsaw down last night to get it out of the way.  The high today is supposed to hit upper 30's so it may get rid of the snow / ice in most places if the sun stays strong.

We made it through the night without losing power which is a big plus!!  Our road is about 3 miles winding through the state forest with lots of trees to fall across the power lines.  When we lose it we are usually out for 6 - 8 hours until they get to us....unless its a big storm and then its a lot longer until they get down to us on the priority list.  I was glad I didn't have to get the generator out and hooked up in the middle of the night.

Coming down pretty heavy right now in SE MA. I've got the snowblower right at the garage door and ready to start clearing things out as soon as it stops later today.
