Keeper905
After a week of hot summer weather of around 33 Celsius (91 F), but feeling like 39C (102F) with Humidex we have turned the corner into late summer/fall weather it seems. Highs are around 23C (74F) so actually really nice to play golf in. Sun is still shining nice. The long weekend looks good for my golf game on Saturday and holiday Monday, so looking forward to getting out in some nice weather. I'm sure we still have a week or two of weather jumping back up but I'll take the break in the weather for now. Really looking forward to playing golf late Sept, early October. Really like playing with the leaves changing colour as the backdrop to a drive! Kenny B
Well, after 9 months of almost no rain, we are finally getting some. We sure need it!! Started Friday night, but quit before our round on Saturday morning. Rained last night, and I think the heavy stuff is going to come down about the time we are/were to tee off. Getting caught in the rain on the course is one thing, but I'm not one to head out to play in the rain. If it lets up a little, maybe a quick nine later. Yep it has been down to like 45* at night the last 2 nights which is cold for this area this time of year--- We have not had any real rain for a month or so. I think my home course will be ok wet wise by Monday with the usual low spots still wet. We have a couples 9& Dine scheduled Wednesday afternoon. I have gotten to the point health wise now I can do 9 if it is CPO. In the past we have had to cancel the 9 & Die if it was CPO. But like you sadly no golf here this weekend.
