Weather in your neck of the woods?

Recommended Posts

This week we're forecast to have lows in the mid 40's and highs tickling 80, with a high of 86 on Thursday.  It was glorious this morning for a quick nine with a 7:21 start time - 44* at the start, and 62* at the finish.  The nice weather tax is worth it right now😆

Ok, I'll add my part. I'm sure the beach has dusting of snow and ice but I'm sorry to disappoint you, I live 2.5 hours south of Houston. It is even rarer for us to get the fluffy white stuff. And I no

This s*** ain't funny anymore...

Couple of weeks ago, we had a few days around 20C (my lawn starting turning green)... the next day, we drop to -10C and have the biggest snow storm in years. Luckily, only lasts for a week or so.

Last week, it was sunny from Monday to Thursday with about 15C... come weekend and it drops to 3C and so windy it cuts right into your bones.

This week, we expect 20C from Mon to Thu again and drop back to below 10C and rain for Easter weekend... yay!

So... I haven't touched a golf club since November 2020.

Hey dude, how's Switzerland treating ya? Hotels here are closed for tourism, but who says you can't arrange a business trip with golf clubs? 😄

Just need a curling club to need some assistance with ice and think I may be able to swing it as such.

After last weeks warm spell we are at 45 this morning and headed to mid 50's which is typical March weather for us.  The cool front came through last evening with some real heavy winds and sideways rain for about 1/2 hour.  We didn't lose any trees but there are plenty of branches laying around to clean up.

I saw that!!  A hot day tomorrow for a golf clinic in OC.

Then I looked at the weather at home.  Tomorrow from 2 pm to 5am on Monday... severe wind warning!!  Winds 30-40mph with gusts to 60mph... blowing dust and tumbleweeds!!!!

Hope I have a home to go back to.

Called home.  The wind gusts hit 65-70 mph; outside of town on Rattlesnake Mountain the gusts were recorded at 99.8 mph.

Wreck on the interstate due to blowing dust...

Temperatures have been in the 60's with bright, beautiful sunshine for several weeks now.  Trees and flowers blooming everywhere.  Grass is as green as I've ever seen it.

I walked outside this morning to head to the office, it's 28* with a harsh, bitter wind!  Mother Nature with the ultimate "April Fool" screw you!

We are colder today and tomorrow and then a bit of a warm up to the 60's again over the weekend.

I may start the stove again to warm up the house.  We have two 90+ yo living here and even when its 75 in here they are wearing blankets so the 70* it is now must be downright arctic to them!   🥶

We're having all four seasons in one day this time of the year.  From freezing mornings to mid 70s in the afternoon.  Currently, we're not getting the rains, but we will -- after all, it IS Oregon.

Tell us about the fishing 👍. With the weather here in Yuma pushing the 100F mark this weekend, it's time to head back home and swap out the 5i for my 5 wt.

when I am not fishing for golf clubs out of trees (ask me if you want to know more lol) I am usually out fishing the deep sea. Haven't done much freshwater here but will be fishing a local lake for the bass spawn tomorrow. Wish me luck and tight lines! Will update with photos if we catch some good ones!

That's a nice catch! Good luck tomorrow with the bass. California has some big ol largemouth bass. Someone caught a twenty five pounder out of Dixon Lake in 2006, but wasn't considered for a world record because it was foul hooked and not weighed on certified scales.

Thanks. Hopefully spawn has started and they are biting. Otherwise just happy if my daughter can reel in a sunfish lol.

28 this morning and sunny skies.  We are supposed to double that and get to 56 for a high today.  I hope the wind we had yesterday doesn't show up today, that really made it feel cold out.  I started the stove up again a couple days ago and was glad to feel that warmth coming in from outside yesterday!
