Ok, I'll add my part. I'm sure the beach has dusting of snow and ice but I'm sorry to disappoint you, I live 2.5 hours south of Houston. It is even rarer for us to get the fluffy white stuff. And I no

LOL - having been born and raised there I came to understand a couple of things. Oregonians don't tan, they rust. Oregonians are the only people born with webbed feet. It rains. A lot.

We’ve had so much rain lately I’m pretty sure rolling a putt would cause the ball to plug.

Must be that silly elevation. Nothing sticking in my yard up here in NH feel like I lucked out big time.

We had a good dusting and the cars were covered. Thankfully by 3 it had mostly melted away.

it was enough to screw up a bunch of Saturday golf plans tho. I got 5 or 6 “course closed” emails.

My car is a nasty looking green/black mix right now. I've dubbed it "blollen".

Yup, this will go on for another week or two. I washed mine two days ago and it looks like crap again. Looking forward to a 15 minute hard rain.

We are 2 - 3 weeks from the oak tree pollen that turns the vehicles green and makes me want to itch my eyes right out of my head.  But we are surrounded by state forest so there is no getting away from it.

45 and sunny this morning.  Clouds are supposed to move in and keep the temps in the mid 50's today.  warmer weather coming....they say 72 on Tues which is the first league night!

38 this morning....that'll wake you up walking the dog around the back yard in shorts!!  I was going to putt a while this morning but I think I'll wait a couple hours until it gets closer to 50.

Supposed to get to low 60's today so an evening 9 holes will probably happen.

Look what Canada sent us.  It was 58F and sunny yesterday and that is the forecast for Wednesday.  Today's high is 34F. You just have to love rocky mountain weather 😆.

Listen to the local ranchers and they say the patterns have shifted about 1 month from days gone by.  These late spring storms are good though as they add much needed snowpack and cold water coming down during the fishing and irrigation season 👍.

I heard this was a bad year for snowpack and they expect problems later as reservoirs drop through the summer.

It's been pretty spotty and location/basin dependent.  This system will help and a few more in the high country will make a big difference.  Last year was looking similar before the late April-May systems arrived.  The red dot is our location.

We've had unseasonably cool, windy conditions for the past few weeks.  Feels like late February weather.  Highs in the lower 50's with frost every morning and a steady 20 MPH breeze.

Last Thursday, I lasted 3 holes before quitting.  Our par 4 #2 is 406 yards.  A very gentle boomerang shape to the left with a stream 20 yards short of a severely elevated green.  It was playing directly into a 35 MPH sustained wind.  I hit driver, 6-iron, 8-iron into the left greenside bunker.  I got that up and down for bogey.  The very next hole plays back in the opposite direction parallel to #2.  It's a 525 yard par 5.  I hit driver, 7-iron that flew the green by 15 yards.  Rattled around in the willow tree between the 3rd green and 4th tee.  I played my third from the back of the 4th tee box straight back into that wind.  I decided that was enough!

Had a couple of friends in from out of town who canceled on me. We had a 2 PM tee time and the forecast was very bad for that time as we came to the point of no return yesterday - so that was that.

Haven’t had a drop of rain since 11 this morning as the sun is out now. :(

Guess we are in the 10 percent non rain chance area.

It’s supposed to be beautiful the next several days, dry, cool, very little wind.

The next chance of rain is Sunday afternoon when I have a 2 PM time

Ping G410 - turned down to11.25 degrees, neutral setting - Fujikura Motore X R flex

Ping G410 5-9 wood

Wilson D7 forged 6-GW -  Mamiya recoil 460 R flex

SCOR 52,60

EVNRoll ER 5

Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them

Currently testing Edison wedges to replace SCORS that are wearing out. Also auditions for the 14th spot in the bag.  Current possibilities are a Ping 26 degree hybrid - duplicates the 9 wood or 5 iron but would be used almost exclusively for chipping or Tour Exotics 3 wood simply because you can carry 14 clubs and I might occasionally hit it in certain unusual wind conditions once every four or five rounds.

Snowed yesterday here in Omaha, freeze warning again tonight.  My golf season is suffering from significant failure to launch.  Next week the forecast climbs back to mid 60s, but high winds all week.  Going to have to get out in that and club up I guess, or I'll go crazy.  Need to get a round into the MGS Grint Tour!
