Please keep it us Ohioans don’t want any of it. If the weather stays this way I may be able to play tomorrow

Forecast is high 40' and sunshine but accompanied by high winds (at least in the northwestern part of the state). Won't be able to play but still hoping to get to the range.

Would be a great day to play as it is about 30 degrees above normal (53*) and a few courses reopened, but alas I am stuck at work. Will definitely be the last day of the season until Feb/March of next year as we average 8 inches of snow in December.
Looking forward to seeing what next season brings!

39* feels like 33*

Shaded areas still have frost on the ground from this morning. Good news is the wet soil is starting to get a bit less soggy.

Will play tomorrow morning. Tee time shows temps of 30*. Suppose to rain all weekend so have to play before it comes in.

Couldn’t get a tee in the ground today. And the ground was like cement. It was interesting day nonetheless. Some rain over the next week
Will soften the ground back up.

Snow and more snow here in Halifax. It's very much out of the normal. We normally are wet and colder, but I have yet to see a white Christmas since moving here 6 or so years ago. January we normally get hammered, but looks like winter is here and wanting to stay a lot earlier. Guess I should put my winter's on...

Surprised they let you even play when the course is in that condition. Wouldn’t it ruin the grass and the greens

Keep it in the short stuff

We have gotten a little over 20 inches of snow in the past 24 hours. That should go nicely when it begins to melt with the record shattering 30 inches of rain we’ve had over the past 90 days.

It started snowing around 8pm tonight. It should be gone by morning though.  However, after a week of lows in the 20's and highs around freezing, tomorrow starts a week of temperatures in the 40's.  We will get a few showers.

Warm stretch coming through the PNW today.  I woke up to sunny skies, low today 45º and high 55º.  Absolutely fabulous for December 17.  Great round of golf today!!

They cover the greens every night so they are in decent shape. This course never has frost delays.

As nice as it was yesterday, it's miserable today.  Still warm... 53º but rain and wind, with gusts to 45mph.  We need the rain though; only 6 inches so far this year, 2 inches below normal.

Just got an alert.  Snoqualmie Pass over the Cascades to Seattle on I-90 is closed both directions... snow.

Local course had tee times available today starting at 9am. Decided to book the 10am tee time hoping for the temps and sun to rise a bit - hard frost and low 30s this morning.
Ended up on a frost delay and played about an hour later. Surprisingly I hit my best score ever!
