That’s not even weather is it? Just horrible.

We would have stayed in Northeast when I retired except for.......Snow & Taxesemoji33.png. Not sure which is worse.

Retire in Canada, our taxes arn't bad and your money goes alot longer here. West coast doesn't even get much snow. On Vancouver Island I maybe have to shovel 1 inch once a year.

We are part way through of a week with highs in the mid 90s and I hate it with a passion I don't want to do the work on my house I have to do because it's not fun doing demo and feeling like I'm going to die.

That’s nasty heat for that kind of work.
I was fooling around backyard landscaping this morning low 90’s and only got about 1 1/2 hours and I was drained.

Playing at 7:30am tomorrow.  It was 103º today and it's supposed to be 105º tomorrow... but it's a dry heat.  Only 14% humidity.  If the wind is blowing, it's kinda like a convection oven.

Summer finally arrived.  After a very pleasant June and early July, temps are ramping up.  It will probably be near or over 100º for the next 10 days.  The hottest I've seen here is 112º.

Heat index of 115 today.  Had to coach Jr PGA, poor kids.  It was brutal out there.  We made sure everyone stayed very hydrated.

I've been in VA for 20+ years now. The other day a buddy asked "Doesn't this heat and humidity bother you?" I laughed and told him I grew up in SC, without air conditioning for years. I'd rather sweat any day than freeze my butt off - the Army taught me that much.

My son and I mainly play in the late afternoon. This time of year, the course is usually deserted in the late afternoon. We can tee off at 4:30ish and get 18 done in under 3 hours.

Yesterday was 101 with the heat index so I stayed inside. Today's a lot nicer, I'll head out onto the deck to work for a little bit. This weekend's looking nice, Sunday is my son's middle school graduation celebration with our immediate family only (we'll be outdoors the entire time) so I'm hoping to see if I can find a partner or two so I can get in a round on Saturday.

I walked 18 on Sunday in Atlanta. Teed off at 11:45 with a real feel of 104 degrees. Going to get back out there tomorrow afternoon and it'll only feel like 97. Can't wait for a 'Chilly' Summer round in Atlanta.

Been in the 90's for a week now. Been playing at 8am to beat part of the heat. Good through the front nine, by the back it's getting hot.  Hands start to sweat, can't keep the grips dry. Go through two gloves a round. If I could only figure out how to wash the gloves without drying into a  piece of rawhide!😂

We had a pretty severe thunderstorm last night, just as we were making the turn.  Today hot humid and 91 but feels like 101*!  Another chance of thunderstorms tonight so pickleball may not happen...

Yep, we would visit my MIL @ the Leesburg Plantations in Fl (down the street from you) and that's where my wife discovered pickleball.  Brought it back up here to MD.  Just recently had two tennis courts painted with pickleball lines.  I still don't know the all the rules, but we play maybe 2-3 a week.  We have a group of people now so we can keep two courts full.  Just had a young kid join.  He just came up from Fl to work for the "government," LOL.  The temp just shot up 10* while sitting on my deck working.  Might be time to head into the AC.
