ETA left our ranges and courses water logged and closed for several days. After a week of projects settling into our new home in FL i had a free morning  - guess it'll have to be non golf related. 

Around here in Central FL really sloppy. We played this morning but some holes should have been closed.

Got down to 31 last night, there is a good bit of frost around.  It has dried out enough from last weeks rain that I have a leaf project waiting for me today, that's the downside of living with many trees.

Sunny & clear this morning, getting cloudy but warmer through the day climbing into the 60's.  Supposed to start raining again this evening.

Always use a driver, as straight as any other club off the tee.

Your kind of weather here today KB, 44 degrees, winds gusting to 40 mph, rain, course all to yourself.  

Actually, I don't think any courses are open today, we got golfers here who will play in anything, but its the course operators, just not worth it to them to open.

Cool pattern moving in here. The wind is taking its usual winter direction and pulling the cold air in from Canada. Mid-40s today with 10 - 15 mph wind, but down to the 30s tomorrow and 20s on Wednesday with lows in the teens.

More rain last night and some big winds blew through.  I got the leaves off the lawn yesterday just in time for the next batch to blow in last night.  Not bad temps today at 59* and sunny with winds at about 10mph.

38 this morning and clear skies, no wind at the moment.  High today of about 50 is what they predict.  I'd like to get out for 9 this afternoon but I think I am going to end up with a service call if I can't get them fixed via a phone call this morning.  

Unfortunately life circumstances aren't letting me get in much golf the last couple months.  Maybe 9 every couple weeks if the weather cooperates in the open window of time.

Today is the day to fire up the stove for the season.

Very cold today, high of 25 with winds around 10 to 15, leading to a very cold feeling day. Winter is just about here.

Wow....22 this morning and there is a slight breeze!   I need to adjust from wearing just the PJ's to follow the dog around the back yard in the morning.    Lots of frost too.  Tee times in the area will be delayed all over this morning.  They say 50 for a high today and we get into the 60's the next couple days so this cold snap is just temporary.

33* this morning. Wife working from home today is begging me to turn the heat on, but I just turned the AC off last week and it's supposed to get up into the 70's this weekend so put on a sweater baby!

I hold off as long as possible on the heat, though living in NH that means trying to make it to November 1. Got close this year, but we got it back with a warm streak in early November. In the low Twenties to Teens this morning but should warm up to the 40s. The wind also has let up a bit which is really great.

Been in mid 50’s every morning since Monday. Not bad golf weather at al as long as wind stays calm/moderate.

Same! I would really like 3-4 weeks between turning the AC off for this first time since April and turning the heat on. Last couple years I'm lucky if I get 2 weeks and with company coming for turkey day, I may be out of luck again this year.

We have thermostat wars here as well but i think in the opposite direction as you guys.  I don't like A/C too much and always push the 'stat up to 77 while she pulls it down to 70. 

In the winter i like it warm so I get the stoker stove going and don't like to shut it down.  Sometimes it will be 75 with a couple windows open and she is complaining loudly!    Although I caught her last evening in the basement standing in front of the stoker catching the heat off the 500* stove!  She was on the course in the cold until dark and was trying to warm up her stiff back!   

This winter will be interesting.  My 90+ yo parents are living here now and they are always cold...Dad would have a jacket on in the 90* summer heat while sitting on the deck in the shade because the breeze was chilly!  I'm not sure what temp we will be at to keep them out from under electric blankets all day!

I remember during the winter at grandparents I would wear shorts still because of how warm they liked it.
