Weather in your neck of the woods?

Yeah, these summer storms come on fast..

At least in FL you can see them coming from miles away, in NE they lie in wait just over the mountain or ridge and sneak up on you when you’re playing well.

Ok, I'll add my part. I'm sure the beach has dusting of snow and ice but I'm sorry to disappoint you, I live 2.5 hours south of Houston. It is even rarer for us to get the fluffy white stuff. And I no

We’ve had so much rain lately I’m pretty sure rolling a putt would cause the ball to plug.

4 days after the storm. Almost walked home without a jacket.

Absolutely Gorgeous in Chicago today; finally a day where it hasn't been 90 deg outside and humid as hell! This weekend will be a different story though 😬

I think they see me - I’ve been rained out several times over the past few months and the Morris afternoon does not look promising. :(

Ping G410 - turned down to11.25 degrees, neutral setting - Fujikura Motore X R flex

Ping G410 5-9 wood

Wilson D7 forged 6-GW -  Mamiya recoil 460 R flex

SCOR 52,60

EVNRoll ER 5

Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them

Currently testing Edison wedges to replace SCORS that are wearing out. Also auditions for the 14th spot in the bag.  Current possibilities are a Ping 26 degree hybrid - duplicates the 9 wood or 5 iron but would be used almost exclusively for chipping or Tour Exotics 3 wood simply because you can carry 14 clubs and I might occasionally hit it in certain unusual wind conditions once every four or five rounds.

Hot and sunny which usually like, except I had to seal the driveway. My son came over so it went quick. Even mowed my lawn. I think he is getting excited. He and his wife close on the first home Aug 3rd.

Ridiculously hot and humid the past couple of weeks.  Thunder and lightning have driven me off the golf course every day since July 16th.  My opening hole last night was a 518 yard par 5 with trees lining both sides of a narrow chute that opens up some 200 yards off the tee into a wide landing area with a pretty hard dogleg right to an elevated green guarded by three very deep bunkers.  It sets you up nicely for a draw off the tee when a fade is the necessary shot.  The further left you are off the tee determines how long the second will play and if you can even reach in two.  But if you are too far right, your second will be blocked out by the trees lining the fairway.  I piped a beautiful power fade right down the middle.  Hit a very nice 5-iron approach from 197 yards to about 12 feet and two putted for birdie.

Then, the heavens opened up.  By the time i could get back to the clubhouse, you couldn't see the golf course from the front porch.  Welcome to the dog-days of summer in the south!  Hoping for better luck this afternoon.

It's 7:30pm and it's still 100º outside.    😬

I suppose that come January, I'll complain that it's below zero.  Well, that's my right!!

Wow, that's hot for that time of day.  Looks like your hot weather is due to spill over the rockies as the balance of the week thru Monday will be high 80's amd low 90's.  The nice thing about being a mile high is that it will still drop into the high 50's at night, even on those toasty days.

But it's a dry heat.  Friday afternoon the humidity is supposed to be 11%... normally 14%.

It's hot but you aren't wet.  You have to be careful and stay hydrated, or you could look like a mummy.

Good news... only 99º tomorrow.
