Tour Exotics 3 wood is in the bag because we are allowed 14 clubs.  It's a great club for pulling balls out of the water or from bushes - you never want to put your hand into anything in Florida unless you are absolutely certain that it's safe.  There are rare wind conditions when I might hit it off the tee on a few holes that I play.

Well we were planning on playing today. Forecast was 50% chance of rain in the morning then becoming clear in the afternoon. And the rest of the story? Torrential downpours all morning -with enough rain to close the course for the day.

Same here but it was meant to rain about 4 in the afternoon. Got to the second hole and it just poured and didn't let up the rest of the day.

Yep!  25º drop in temp today, but after the combination of smoke and blowing dust yesterday, I'll take it.  Clear out this am.

Could be a hard winter in Montana this year.  Better head south.  We will be in Palm Springs for 2 weeks in January.  Maybe we can meet up for a day.

I use the frequency of snow shovel events from the deck and driveway as my "time to fly" indicator.   October is often one of the best months of the year here and not being a hunter, living in hunting country, golf courses are ghost towns.  I'm up for a get together; let me know when you get there.

Covered in smoke and ash due to multiple fires here in Oregon. Major fire burning 25 miles east of me and my I believe my brothers house burned along with other homes  and businesses. Its still unclesr but he did get out with his 3 dogs and is safe.
