Yup,
Kinda upset, we missed a text from our Gdaughter @ Villanova this evening about FaceTime. Thunder & Lightning was brutal.
We’ll talk to her tomorrow.

Well, no golf this weekend.  Air quality is really bad.  Not supposed to leave house.  Here's a map of the Air Quality Index for the west coast.  The dark area has AQI for particulate matter 200-2000 micrograms/ cubic meter.  Ours is 450 now; was 800 last night.  Portland is 1500.

Our course won't open until the AQI is under 200 for an hour.

My area is not quite as bad as yours, but still above 200 right now. No golf for me either.

460 at my place right now. No idea when we will be able to open.

Our course is in a level 3 evacuation zone.

Hope it’s still there next week.

I am a bit of a weather nerd and thought I'd see if anyone else shared this interest....

We hit 39* this morning which is a bit on the low side for us this time of year.  I am sure we'll still get some hot days but the dip in temps is nice for a change.

It's been dry for about a week now after 18" of rainfall in August.  The 10 day forecast looks pretty dry as well, so I will be sprinklering the grass seed & fert work that was done yesterday.

The temp inside was 66 so I hit the heater witch to get it up a few degrees.  We have old people living with us and I didn't want them in their parkas sitting at the breakfast table!  😆

Its a repeat of yesterday morning with a low of 39* a little earlier on the backyard weather station that's on top of the garage.

Still dry, very little dew again so I have the sprinkler on the new seed in the aerated yard.

61* this morning and light rain watering the lawn work from last weekend.  The weather station says .41" so far.  The weather guessers say the rain moves out by this afternoon staying in the high 60's.  It might be a good afternoon to start cutting into a couple downed trees I have been ignoring since July & August while it was in the 90's.

Exactly the same as SE Washington except it's sunny, not a cloud in the sky; humidity 40%.

The “mostly cloudy” is Fake News. Really nice today. Just came in after a couple Margaritas in the Birdcage.

I think it’s a Southern thing. It’s a screen covered patio type area. Ours is 24’ sq with 4’ wall on a sides. A necessity if you want to be outside in FL and not get eaten alive by the flesh eating mosquitoes.

Just got back from Florida. I'm not ready for this weather - it was in the 50's and raining when we got in yesterday. Today is an improvement.
