I hope he's enjoying it while it lasts.  The last 3 times I went to Florida was in January and froze my ass off.  The last time Rev told me that January was their cold season.

There’s a week or two in January it’s cool/cold they call it winter.

Some cold windy air moving through today and tomorrow. Nice traditional winter cold front coming through, with winds picking up as they always do in the winter. Chance of some cool rain and a bit of snow tomorrow morning. Hopefully warm enough later in the week for one last round.

51 now after a morning low of 40.  A few showers are supposed to move through today with the temps staying in the mid 50's.  I was hoping the leaves would dry out a bit so I could get the tractor / vac out this afternoon but that doesn't look promising.  I do have an inside project I can get started so maybe that will be the days activity.

Maybe shorts over tights might catch on in Florida. Kinda like white sox and sandals

Today is one of those fun days when the high temperature will be this morning at 35. Then all that wind @dhartmann34 mentioned comes our way and it only gets colder all day, with wind chills at about 18/19. Thankfully it's supposed to get warmer all week, might even get back into the 60s.

I am a bit of a weather nerd and thought I'd see if anyone else shared this interest....
We hit 39* this morning which is a bit on the low side for us this time of year.  I am sure we'll still get some hot days but the dip in temps is nice for a change.  
It's been dry for about a week now after 18" of rainfall in August.  The 10 day forecast looks pretty dry as well, so I will be sprinklering the grass seed & fert work that was done yesterday.
The temp inside was 66 so I hit the heater witch to get it up a few degrees.  We have old people living with us and I didn't want them in their parkas sitting at the breakfast table!  

You must be near me in Georgia. 41 here this AM. Father in Law will still be in a parka after i turn the heat to 71. Yesterday though 60 when i came off the course at 6

39 this morning which isn't too bad, except for the 25 mph winds that are making it feel much colder!  At least the wind will dry out the wet leaves so I can get working on them later this afternoon or tomorrow.
